Charming Italian hotel near Stresa, right by the lake. We had a short but sweet stay last September—relaxing, peaceful, and full of lovely views. Definitely left us wanting to return!

Superb location, magnificent pool, courteous staff, nothing special (I think a language barrier). Bar next door, the morning gentleman, adorable, and breakfast more than decent for the price, either set menu or à la carte. Small restaurant also decent, friendly staff. Large room, upgraded, so thank you again, beautiful terrace. Pets are allowed, which is not insignificant. However, a major drawback: no housekeeping during the stay, no bed; everything is optional. I looked for a broom, just to make sure there was nothing. I think that for the price of a 5-day reservation, at least once wouldn't be a luxury. In fact, we booked an apartment; we weren't staying at the hotel. Paid parking, two evenings with parties at this place, including one night until 3:30 a.m., a bit difficult to sleep. Despite everything, a very pleasant stay.

Perfect place to enjoy a sweet break while looking at the lake

We spent 5 nights at this resort on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The lakeside location is ideal, and the view from the pool and lounge chairs is magnificent. However, our apartment didn't quite live up to our expectations. The apartment smelled damp, and we noticed that the two walls surrounding the shower clearly had mold and mildew. The bathroom fan didn't work. Furthermore, it's not really a hotel because there's no housekeeping during your stay unless you request it and pay extra. You have to take out your trash at the end of your stay, and there's no towel change.
