Very intimate and nice place. Serene and relaxing atmosphere. Not very large but well looked after, welcoming and clean. The service is friendly and attentive. As for the dishes, the menu offers a wide choice, not exaggerated but this is a good thing. The dishes are well prepared, typical of the area with a note of "ancient" as the name of the restaurant recalls. There are uncommon dishes and in some cases even forgotten by the standardization of the Tuscan offer. The fried brain is excellent and all the fried foods seem well made, dry and crunchy so much so that the menu also refers to the ability to offer fried foods that are not common to everyone. Good quality meat, tender and tasty, offered in a non-trivial way. Prices are normal. We will be back!

I ate well, the thing I liked most was the fried brains, I prefer the wild boar pappardelle with a few larger pieces of meat, the attentive and familiar service.

Scelto per mangiare un po di funghi... Tagliolini senza sapore...poco conditi e funghi fritti. Lo ricordavamo come un locale dalla cucina buona e di tradizione...ma questa volta ci ha delusi.

Truly exceptional Fiorentina, excellent appetizers of crostini and mixed fried foods, the glass of vin santo served with cantucci in a wooden glass holder is also special. Very fast service, we were a table of 20 people and yet they brought us the dishes perfectly synchronized, so congratulations to the owner for the efficiency and skill of his staff. We will definitely be back.

Locale situato alle Croci di Calenzano a circa 6/7 minuti dall outlet di Barberino. Ben arredato, buona accoglienza e servizio. Ottimi i pici cacio pepe e tartufo, il filetto e la tagliata. Patate fritte eccellenti. Rapporto qualità prezzo ok. Parcheggio davanti al ristorante. Ritornati per assaggiare il fritto misto , tortelli al sugo bianco di anatra e tagliolini ai porcini..... Tutto buonissimo. Complimenti.Consigliamo questo ristorante senza alcun dubbio.
