A truly lovely place, with excellent cuisine. The staff is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. As a celiac, I really appreciated the attention to detail: all their fried foods are gluten-free, and there are many gluten-free options for appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Gluten-free first courses are not currently available. Highly recommended.

Perfectly local, family-run, absolutely excellent! The seafood spaghetti was superb, and the gnocchi al vongole with bottarga was exceptionally good, not to mention the pistachio tiramisu 😋😋😋😋—a delight! A must-visit if you're in San Lorenzo al Mare 👍👍👍👍

2025: As in previous years, we dined at Ristorante Antica Piazzetta every evening again this year. Both the service and the cuisine remain simply exceptional. The daily changing menu, in particular, always provides variety and expands the already excellent selection. We are already looking forward to our vacation in June 2026 and to eating here again. 2024: As every year, we spent wonderful evenings at Ristorante Antica Piazzetta. A daily changing menu now expands the range of dishes. The quality of the food is, as always, outstanding. We are also still 100% impressed by the service and the friendliness of the staff. Ristorante Antica Piazzetta is simply an integral part of our stay in San Lorenzo al Mare. 2022: This year, we again dined at Ristorante Antica Piazzetta almost every day. The service and the food were as good as ever. For seven years, we have been regular visitors to the restaurant and are absolutely delighted by the excellent food and the incredibly friendly staff. Our dog is also very welcome. The quality of the food has remained consistently good over the years. This restaurant is an absolute must when you're in San Lorenzo al Mare. We're already looking forward to our next vacation!

A true timeless favorite. This evening I dined at the Antica Piazzetta restaurant in San Lorenzo al Mare and, as always, it was an excellent experience. We ate truly deliciously: three courses of spaghetti allo scoglio—rich, flavorful, and carefully prepared—accompanied by wine, water, two desserts, and a sorbet, all excellent. The restaurant is beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming, and the staff is always extremely kind, attentive, and professional. The service is excellent, punctual but never intrusive, making you feel at home. I've been going to this restaurant since I was 6; now I'm 31, and each time is a confirmation: the quality here has never wavered. For me, it's a regular stop in San Lorenzo al Mare. Highly recommended, both for a special dinner and for those seeking authentic, reliable seafood cuisine.

Wonderful lunch with seafood spaghetti and shrimp. My son loved the noquis with tomato sauce. As good as Mom's. Fast service and good value for money.

Excellent food, the menu was available in several languages, and the service was extremely fast. All the dishes we had were very good to excellent. The squid had a pleasant texture, the smoked salmon had a lovely aroma, and the prawns were perfectly cooked. The only comment: If you order prawns, you should know how to eat/peel whole prawns. The service staff were very well coordinated, very friendly, and, above all, very fast. A bonus was that they brought us a high chair and children's cutlery for our 12-month-old without asking. The ambiance is located in a small pedestrian zone in the second row by the sea. We sat outside, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, with no street noise, just the other diners and a few pedestrians. The price/performance ratio for antipasti, primo, secundi, and dessert is somewhere between reasonable and very good, especially considering the service.
