Beautiful resort on the hill, not far from the sea.

A charming place, with incredibly kind and impeccable staff. We had a very intimate wedding at Popilia. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and the wedding planner who manages the weddings at the property, Merilù, made our wedding unique and special. She was available for discussions and planning, and immediately put us at ease. I highly recommend this resort because it is well-maintained and takes great care of its guests.

We got married on October 17, 2025, and everything was perfect...from the moment we arrived, we fondly remember the warm welcome we received from day one. Manager Fabio was incredibly skilled at making every detail perfect for our requests, and with "the groom," it was love at first sight 😂. We received service that exceeded our already positive expectations, from the impeccable reception with every service to the wedding planner Merilú, who, along with the bride, organized everything with meticulous care and impeccable precision, never making us feel like we were being disturbed, but always with a unique welcome and a smile! On the wedding day, maître d' Antonio was our shadow, guiding us and being constantly attentive, never abandoning us for a second, always ready and attentive to our every need, while also keeping everything under control! The rooms were spotless and tidy, impeccably clean. Everything was perfect, from the ceremony in the magical pine forest to the reception in the halls, with fresh and delicious food, from the initial buffet to the desserts, especially the delicious Callipo truffles. What more can I say? If you want the wedding of your dreams, Popilia Country Resort is the place to go!

What can I say about a place so well looked after down to the smallest details, clean, super welcoming, professional and very friendly staff, top-notch structure

I would have given the rooms 5 stars, too, but having a TV that only gets about ten channels, and with a terrible signal, doesn't allow it. These days, even B&Bs offer smart TVs. Besides, we could hear neighboring guests from our room, but that's because we were separated by a simple wooden panel, which they might remove to join the rooms together for larger families. Otherwise, a great place, stunning view, clean rooms, and a varied sweet and savory breakfast.

We went to Popilia thanks to a gift certificate for a massage, and we also decided to stop for an aperitif... what a great choice! 💆‍♀️🍹 Raffaella and Tiziana were there to welcome and pamper us. They were extremely kind and professional: they immediately made us feel at ease, and the massage was relaxing and perfect in every detail. The aperitif was also very pleasant, in a refined and peaceful setting, ideal for unwinding.

A rejuvenating experience! We had the pleasure of being treated by Tiziana and Raffaella, and I can only express my gratitude for their professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness. Tiziana is extremely competent and exudes calm and confidence from the very first moment. Raffaella's precision made every treatment a true moment of well-being. The environment is meticulously maintained, clean, and relaxing: you feel pampered and at ease. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to pamper themselves in expert hands.
