The chef is amazing. Between his story, his personality, his passion and skill, we absolutely loved our dinners there and his cooking show. The only drawback is his waitress. Would have been one of our favorite restaurants if she was just a little more focused on her job and customer service.

Ambrosia was an absolute delight from start to finish. The spinach flan was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and made even more special because the chef prepared it right in front of us during a live cooking demonstration. The second course, handmade pici pasta, was outstanding. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and hearing the chef explain how he had prepared the pasta earlier that day just added to the experience. Ambrosia combines authentic Tuscan cuisine with warm hospitality and a personal touch. Highly recommend!

With guidance from the warm and knowledgeable Chef Mateo, we rolled, shaped, and cooked our way through a delicious and fun afternoon. Sitting down to enjoy the meal we created ourselves made it all the more meaningful. To accompany our food, we were served the house wine, and it was absolutely amazing – smooth, rich, and the perfect complement to the dishes we made. Ambrosia is more than just a restaurant – it’s a culinary and cultural experience that we’ll always remember. Highly recommended for anyone looking to savor the true spirit of Tuscany.

Characteristic environment. I was there for my birthday. We ate very well and the staff and the chef were super friendly.

As a chef in the U.S., this meal and experience was at the top of my favorite restaurants in Cortona. Chef Matthew Sciarri puts his heart and soul into every dish creating fresh, local dishes that are perfectly presented and memorable. He made our group of 12 feel as if we were the only guests in his restaurant, however every table was full. It’s been a long time since I’ve wanted to go back to a restaurant the next night. Unfortunately, we were leaving for Florence the next morning or I would have. Grazie mille to the Chef and team!

Locale carino a Cortone. Avrei dato di più ma anche se è vero che ci siete venuti incontro nel cambiare qualche portata di carne nel menù terra ma un menù senza un primo come si deve non si può vedere. Vini buoni. Lo consiglio ma senza chiedere variazioni
