Very pleasant surprise in the heart of Cortona. A surprising place, in the furnishings, in the service with attention to the smallest details, but above all in the food. A reinterpretation of traditional cuisine with truly unique flavors to be enjoyed from start to finish. A mix of particular combinations that awaken taste, smell and sight. Truly the best. Standing ovation to the chef who is truly a genius in assembling dishes to perfection. A truly unique experience. Compliments to the dining room staff. Nice, friendly and attentive in satisfying customer requests. Well done👏

I had lunch in this nice place with my husband, we ate really well, I have celiac disease and I don't eat meat, but they made me feel at ease with different dishes available and everything was excellent. We will be back soon, thank you

Ho pranzato con mio marito in questo carinissimo ristorante, per me non è facile trovare più di un piatto di pasta al pomodoro e a volte neppure quella. Questo locale è favoloso, non solo per l'ottimo cibo ma anche per dare la possibilita' a chi come me è celiaco e non mangia carne, di fare un'esperienza culinaria e addirittura di condividerla con gli altri commensali. Grazie e ancora grazie, siete stati gentilissimi e speriamo di tornare presto, per assaggiare altri piatti deliziosi

Tuvimos el placer de comer aquí el jueves por la noche. La demostración de cocina primero tuvimos la oportunidad de probar la comida preparada en la demostración. Primera clase. Nos alojamos y pedimos otros dos platos. Noche magnífica en Cortona. Todo el personal es tan encantador si vuelvo a Cortona esta pequeña joya está en la lista para comer de nuevo.

We were there for cooking class. Matteo the chef very friendly and knowledgeable. Showed how to make Tuscan panzinella and ricotta dumplings. Prices on menu seemed a little high. Nice atmosphere.

AMBROSIA restaurant in CORTONA Beautiful location furnished with great taste and very particular, very warm welcome, and exclusive dishes cooked with care and passion and very good prepared by the chef and owner Matteo. This restaurant is highly recommended for Italian and foreign tourists who come to visit Cortona. Katya and Massimo from Milan.

15/01/2025: I will definitely be back! Delicious food and atmosphere of a restaurant of the past
09/01/2025: Honestly, I remembered better. My potato tortelli weren't drained well and were consequently quite watery. The worst thing, however, was the rude response to my question as to why, despite the request for a seat away from the door made when booking, people who arrived later than us got better treatment. I also want to point out the complete absence of a menu, which does not allow you to have any control over it when checking out. The environment is very limited.
