A hidden gem. Off the main road in the small and little-known hamlet of Calcinere lies one of the best restaurants in the Cuneo Alpine valleys. Piedmontese and valley cuisine, with a focus on locally sourced produce, including even somewhat forgotten dishes like the (outstanding) carpione and freshwater fish. The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and the wine list is incredible with very fair prices. The value for money here is a 10/10. Well done.

Great and polite service, location could be a bit nicer but overall - amazing place, delicious Piemonte food, best parmigiana I’ve ever had :)

Veniamo qua per coccolarci, e non sbagliamo mai. L' esperienza di Clelia, la simpatia del giovane figlio, rendono i piatti dei miracoli che prima di essere ingoiati ti fanno venire i brividi...ti stropicciano dentro. Se venite ai piedi del Viso, chiamate e prenotate un tavolo, vedrete che ho ragione.

A guarantee, the real typical Piedmontese cuisine, quality raw materials and an excellent choice from the wine list. Absolutely recommended if you are in Valle Po!!

Food caresses the heart if it is good. Here it not only caresses it but fills it with GOOD. Excellent quality, a delight for the palate. If you are having a NO period go to Alpino, the smiles and the welcome already help you change your mood, then eat, eat and eat...you will come out different. When food is therapy.

It's worth much more than it seems!! Excellent menu, few courses but well selected, I would have liked to try every dish but we will be back soon. Fair prices, recommended!

Come si sta bene in questo ristorante!!! I piatti sono della tradizione eseguiti da una cucina esperta e personale: i capunet che spettacolo… Il servizio è attento e cordiale La carta dei vini è completa e con etichette anche molto particolari. Bravi.

Complimenti davvero per la bellissima esperienza, locale molto bello e pulito,personale molto molto preparato, cibo fresco e buonissimo, carrello formaggi ben servito, dolce davvero molto gustoso e buono. Ma assolutamente un'applauso alla carta vini . TOPPPPP ci ritorno

20/04/2025: A fantastic place to dine! If there were more stars i wouldn’t hesitate to give them all the stars of the sky! Excellent service, excellent food, amazing people! I found the place by accident, walking on the beautiful streets of Alba.The owner is an old timer with a very good real Italian style that reminds me of the good Fellini movies, it’s the guy you want to be your friend, the head waiter is a very good looking guy with a great personality, good English and he loves his important job that if you are a person that appreciates the service that you can get when you want to have a good time.This restaurant comes out of another reality that we have forgotten.The people that they enjoy to do the job right, the people that make your time and your money worth! Giuseppe very well knows how to make you feel good and he will please you! Don’t miss it, go there, you are going to have a great time with great food and most important GREAT PEOPLE!
12/04/2025: A great restaurant, 5 stars are not enough, great service, small changes to the dishes possible at no extra charge, a nice and tasty greeting from the kitchen in advance. All in all, highly recommended!!! Many thanks to the kitchen

15/07/2025: Best food in whole Cuneo. They really mail the concept of food, culture and the variety between tradition and progression. I love going back to have lunch or dinner as soon as I am in Cuneo. Good both restaurant and bistro. Lovely people
