We stumbled upon it by chance, looking at the other reviews and on a particular evening when all the other places nearby were closed (it was October 31st, a pre-holiday... but we know that high season wins in the mountains). We were pleasantly welcomed by an appetizing menu and some truly appreciable off-menu items (sliced ​​venison). We took an appetizer, a first course of gnocchi with an encore of condiments and the sliced ​​venison (truly sublime!!!!!) and a quarter of the house wine... more than fair prices. We will be back several times!

Non ero mai stato prima: una vera e propria sorpresa! È stato un pranzo in famiglia, eravamo in 13 e devo dire che, nonostante il locale fosse strapieno, il sevizio è stato quasi impeccabile! Complimenti a tutte le cameriere, sempre allegre e con il sorriso! Detto questo, noi abbiamo mangiato tutti l’antipasto (semplice ma molto buono, polenta soppressa e funghi locali) e poi ovviamente gnocchi come se non ci fosse un domani! Super: gli gnocchi erano veramente ben fatti e molto buoni così come i sughi che portano a parte, come una volta. E per finire una bignolata allo zabaione che per me, che non sono un grande amante dei dolci, devo dire era proprio buona. Bravi, si vede che ci mettete passione ed amore in quello che fate! Continuate così! PS: dimenticavo….anche il conto è stato una sorpresa, positiva anche quella ovviamente: compreso di acqua, vino e caffè…€19 a testa! Ci tornerò sicuramente!!

And unfortunately, maybe I had high expectations from the first time, but I was disappointed. The service is certainly very quick...perhaps even excessively quick. And if you hurry too much you can make mistakes; I'll explain better below. Let me start by saying that the gnocchi are always very good as a dough, but as a sauce I had chosen the amatriciana sauce and - even asking those who are more expert than me - you go for the bacon, but the pecorino must be there and there wasn't any either. 'shadow. Otherwise let's not call it that, but tomato and that's it. An obvious and serious error, which I reported both at the end of the first and at the end. Maybe there was an error in the order, but that's it. Second course I had the rabbit roll... it's true that in other places where I've eaten it it melted in my mouth, but in yesterday's case it was almost inedible and you couldn't even cut it because it was so chewy. I was asked at the end and I couldn't help but point it out. But observing other meats in passing, these too did not seem noteworthy to me. 😐 Maybe they could offer less choice on the menu, but take care of it better. The side dishes were sparse, dry, too much. And even the Macafame as a dessert - a nice slice - was mediocre and flavourless. With the final coffee I refreshed my palate a bit, which certainly demanded a little from the previous rabbit and maybe there was even a limoncello offered, but never mind. 30 euros, the final bill is fine, but I definitely expected more... probably my mistake. In conclusion: I'm removing one star... There could even be two, in reality, but the gnocchi save them, because the taste of the potato really emerges. So: a place that certainly stands out for its gnocchi, which are very good in terms of dough. But only and exclusively for those. Maybe I made the wrong choices or evening, but overall I found myself better in other places in the area. So during my lunch break I will eventually go back again for a plate of gnocchi. For a full dinner in the future I don't think so. I am sorry. 😑

I think they are the best gnocchi ever in the province!!! They are made by them and have something special that you don't find elsewhere. When I work in the area it's a mandatory stop for the 12 o'clock break

Luogo semplice, ma sapori “veri”, in estate (ma anche in inverno), è una tappa fissa, gli gnocchi sono veramente ottimi e qui il caldo si sente meno.

I love this place. It's a little dated but it doesn't matter to me, you just need to eat well and here you eat well, good homemade food! As long as there is friendliness and here there is neither, in summer it's cool! A marvel
