Four of us had dinner that evening after a day in Carloforte. Overall, it was a positive experience, but we had a hard time choosing what to eat; we expected more fresh fish. The food was well-cooked, and the entrees we ordered (the four on the menu without frozen fish) were good. The service was good, and the price was average.

The atmosphere is shabby, the lighting cold. The pizza was just okay for our taste. The ingredients were good, except for the house wine (a bottle costing €12), which we found on sale the next day at the supermarket for €3.50. The waiters brought food to the wrong table several times, and the organization needs improvement.

The pizza was excellent, but the staff had a rather peculiar concept of customer service. Locals were given an ice bucket for the same wine that was simply placed on our table. They were then repeatedly asked if everything was to their liking, while it was too much trouble for us to bring the menu to choose a dessert. So we paid and went elsewhere for ice cream.

A strategic restaurant near the port, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, smiling, helpful, and attentive staff.
Unfortunately, we only had lunch here once because we were passing through Carloforte, but we'll definitely be back!
Honorable mention for the much-desired pasticcio alla Carlofortina, the best we've ever had! A tasty dish, generous portions, and, last but not least, a generous amount of fish in the sauce (an unmissable detail).
Excellent value, highly recommended! Thanks again for the wonderful experience :)
