First info: there are two entrances. We were waiting for friends who in turn were waiting for us, but we were from two different entrances, so if you are in a group, know this. With hindsight I would probably have chosen the €25 menu where there was also a first course and focaccia di Recco as a second course. Instead we made some focaccia di Recco to share, but given the same price and portions it's not worth it, if I could go back, as I said, I'd take the menu. Nice atmosphere, there is a large space even if you have a table. Focaccia with cheese and pizza very good, with pesto good, but the first two are better (then these flavours!). The thing that disappointed me a little was the dessert, from the photo I don't know if it makes sense, but the portion was small and the taste wasn't that great either (I had taken a piece of pistachio cake, but it didn't taste like pistachio). Furthermore, the desserts were only of three types (semifreddo or cake/tart) because I didn't understand what had been there the night before, so not much variety, at least in quantity... We'll see if going there in the future a second time will actually be different . Very kind waitress, she also apologized for the delay in the arrival of the focaccias.
Other practical info: there is a car park right nearby and this is not bad for being in Recco. Furthermore, it is in a position that, if you want, once you leave, you can easily take a walk along the nearby seafront.

After a long journey, we were welcomed like at home, delicious food, very kind staff, even our furry friend was very happy, welcomed with joy.

Even just the DOP cheese focaccia is worth the visit. The final bill is also adequate. The environment lacks any aesthetic care: a few tricks would be enough to make the room more welcoming and comfortable, such as eliminating the cold lights of the chandeliers and placing floor lamps with warm light...but okay, it's part of the Ligurian folklore that smacks of that decadent aged over the years and never restored :)

Real and good restaurants like those of the past still exist, and Alfredo is proof of this.
Welcoming environment, typical of the 70s/80s, very kind staff, delicious dishes and SUBLIME FOCACCIA!!!

We ended up here on a private tour and did a pesto tasting along with their amazing focaccia bread (not like regular focaccia I was used to)! Service was amazing, food was delicious! Would recommend to anyone and would love to come back next time in Italy!

If you come to Recco, you absolutely have to come and eat at Alfredo!! The cuisine is excellent, the “troffie al pesto” are delicious and the “foccacia al fromaggio” is the best in the world!!! The staff are adorable, very attentive! Go ahead with your eyes closed :)
