Mio marito ed io abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante grazie ad un amico che abita in zona e ci ha invitati a pranzo per farci conoscere questo locale, che ci aveva consigliato decantandolo. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, tutto al di sopra delle nostre aspettative: abbiamo apprezzato l'originalità del menù e la cura nella presentazione dei piatti, l'ottima qualità delle materie prime , la squisita cortesia del personale (il cameriere ci ha accompagnati nella degustazione con il sorriso , grande professionalità e discrezione). Il locale è elegante e accogliente, senza sfarzo, ma con il giusto stile che ben si sposa con l'ambiente in cui si trova. Noi abbiamo optato per un menù alla carta, ma c'è la possibilità di scegliere fra tre menù completi a prezzo fisso , dal corretto rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo.

I have many friends who work in high end gastronomy and I wish they were this good. Davide, the chef, his wife Lucia, Father Mauro and Pierre the Somelier run a restaurant that is everything you could ever wish for. Welcoming, excellent service, incredible food, a masterpiece of wine card, it's not too fancy it's just the right amount. There are only 4 tables, which makes for an incredibly attentive experience. Davide was nice enough to take the time to spend an afternoon explaining a lot of what he does to creat such an experience, we got talking and two passionate people just went on about food for hours. The depth to which he goes is hard to grasp at first, but becomes evidently clear the more you indulge in what he has to offer. The produce is meticulously sourced, most of the vegetables are from his own biodynamic garden, the fish was all caught on the same day as it was served, the meat and cheese were local, the wine list is curated to an extent I cannot comprehend. I only got to know Davide and not the rest of his family, but he is a fantastic person who really loves what he does and the impact it has on people. It was an unforgettable experience, better than any other restaurant be that Michelin starred or not that I have ever visited. I will be back! Thank you and well done.

Why isn't this a star restaurant yet?! Haven't had such a good meal in a long time! All products are farm-fresh from our own garden or immediate surroundings. Food really exceptionally high quality. The service is really exceptionally friendly and polite. It is also very nice that the chef explains the dishes with due pride and pride. The atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderfully warm and cozy. I wish I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars! Definitely, 100% recommended!

MY GOSH. This place is amazing. The servers made me feel like a VIP. The food is delicious and very tasty. Amazing quality, very fresh food and the way it’s served is michelin worthy. How is this restaurant not a star restaurant I wonder. Wish I could eat here every day. Kindest people ever!

Review the restaurant. ALESSANDRO is a pleasure. Superior quality food perfectly in line with the prices. The superiority of the dishes is the natural consequence linked to the freshness of their products Their kindness, the management at the tables by Mr. PIER is professionally perfect. Let yourself be guided throughout your lunch/dinner and you will be unpayably satisfied. It is certainly worth going up to Scoffera. 20 minutes from Val Bisagno. An excellence among Genoese restaurants.

06/01/2025: Blue Lounge By Melià stands out as a jewel in Genova's rich culinary landscape, particularly for their masterful execution of traditional Ligurian and Italian dishes. During our visit, we had the pleasure of experiencing their pasta offerings and dessert, each dish showcasing the restaurant's commitment to authentic Italian cuisine. The star of our meal was undoubtedly the Trofiette al Pesto, featuring the characteristic twisted pasta of the Ligurian region. This dish exemplified why Genova is the birthplace of pesto - the sauce was perfectly balanced, coating each strand of pasta with its vibrant basil-rich flavor. The addition of green beans and potatoes, traditional accompaniments in Genova, added both texture and heartiness to the dish. Having sampled various versions of this local specialty throughout Genova, I can confidently say this was the finest preparation we encountered. We also sampled the Pici in Ragù Bolognese, which demonstrated equal expertise in preparation. The thick pici pasta had the ideal texture - tender yet satisfyingly chewy - while the Bolognese sauce offered rich, deep flavors that spoke to careful, slow cooking and quality ingredients. The seasoning was impeccable, striking that perfect balance that elevates a good dish to an exceptional one. For dessert, we concluded with their Tiramisu, a classic that served as an excellent benchmark for the kitchen's capabilities. The dessert was excellent, with well-defined layers of coffee-soaked savoiardi and creamy mascarpone, neither too sweet nor too heavy - a sophisticated interpretation of this beloved Italian dessert. Service matched the quality of the cuisine, with staff members displaying genuine friendliness and professionalism throughout our meal. The attention to detail in both food and service creates an experience that honors the best traditions of Italian dining. Verdict: For those seeking authentic Italian cuisine in Genova, particularly the region's famous pesto dishes, Blue Lounge By Melià delivers an exceptional dining experience that's worthy of its reputation. 28/10/2024: The Olimpo restaurant is a true culinary jewel and more. The location, with attention to every detail, is enchanting and offers a wonderful view of both bays of Sestri Levante. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the owner Giacomo Pittaluga, extremely kind, attentive, knowledgeable and an excellent sommelier, guarantees, together with all his staff, an absolutely pleasant experience, putting his guests at ease. The wine selection is exceptional, carefully selected, broad and Giacomo's suggestions always accompany us in a unique experience in perfect balance in the combination of food and wine. Chef Mauro Manfredi is also excellent and with experience and skill he offers exquisite and refined dishes, excellently presented and with perfectly balanced and sublime flavours, always selecting the highest quality raw materials. The executive chef who passes among the guests at the end of the dinner is a pleasant courtesy that completes the experience, reconfirming the perfect welcome that can be sensed from the moment you enter. The Olimpo restaurant offers an unforgettable, refined and exceptional culinary experience, immersed in a very evocative context and this is why it is always exciting to return and let yourself be pampered.
