Located atop Monte Botte Donato (1,926 m above sea level—the highest peak in the Sila Mountains), it offers spectacular views. A cable car and a chairlift serve the ski slopes. I highly recommend the route from Moccone to Lorica, easily accessible by car, which offers views of dense beech forests and glimpses of bucolic beauty, including plateaus with wild grazing animals. I won't rate the rooms because I didn't use them. The hut staff is courteous and helpful.
