Ristorante Albergo Quattro Gigli In Montopoli in val d'arno

08/06/2025: Ci vengo da quasi vent'anni. Nonostante la posizione abbastanza turistica, nel centro di Pisa, e un cambio di gestione, rimane una valida scelta. Ormai ci vengo solitamente per la bistecca, ma hanno una buona scelta di piatti toscani, e un'ampia carta dei vini. Servizio adeguato e prezzi in linea con quelli pisani (non economici).

02/06/2025: We went to Il Campano for dinner and the experience was very positive, despite a small initial mix-up. We had booked for 9:15 pm but had to wait a bit before being seated. However, the staff was very courteous and at the end of the dinner offered us a discount to apologize for the delay — a gesture that was truly appreciated. The cuisine is authentic Tuscan, tasty and well-prepared. We tried pici with wild boar sauce, simply delicious: handmade pasta with a rich and tasty ragù, perfectly balanced. For dessert, we chose the Pisanina cake, which turned out to be a very pleasant discovery: a typical dessert, simple but with character, perfect for ending the meal. The environment is welcoming, with a warm and rustic atmosphere that goes well with the gastronomic proposal. Recommended for those looking for traditional Tuscan cuisine with a touch of authenticity. Despite the initial wait, we would gladly return!
