Ristorante Albergo Miralago In Cortina d'ampezzo

We had a wonderful stay at Miralago! The owners are such kind people and really tries to make you feel at home as soon as you step through the doors. The hotel looks like it has recently been renovated and the rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. We also had a beautiful view of lake Misurina and mountains from our window. At breakfast we got bread, cold cuts, yoghurt, fresh juice, delicious coffee and the best marmalade croissants we have ever had! There's also a restaurant at the hotel where you can eat delicious regional food for dinner. If we would go back to the Dolomites, we would definitely stay here again.

Great and amazing hotel on the lake shore. We were welcomed at the reception by a very kindly, helpful and always smiling Mariuccia. So that I wouldn't be cold at night, she also provided me with warm blankets. We had a beautiful room with a view of the lake and the mountain range with Sorapiss in the background. The bathroom is beautiful with a stylish sink and shower. Breakfast was typical, simple and delicious fresh croissant. I would welcome vegetables and fruits. For breakfast, presso or cappuccino is of course. Dinners were also delicious, there are two types of food to choose from. After dinner there is also dessert. They had great local beer on tap at the bar. The hotel is a good starting point for hiking in the surrounding mountains. Many thanks for the care of the entire staff, but especially to the wonderful, always kind and attentive Mariuccia. I would go back there in a heartbeat and spend more days there.

The location is very convenient for going to Sanjian Mountain. However, the elevator can only carry luggage. People have to climb the stairs. It is a bit inconvenient. As for breakfast, there are few choices and not rich enough. The additional dinner is not very delicious.

The room is okay, the food is so-so, and it's close to many tourist attractions.

We had a beautiful room with a direct view of the lake, which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the soundproofing made it a bit difficult to enjoy the peace and quiet, as noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway was clearly audible. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, which made our stay more pleasant. Regarding breakfast, we would have liked a larger selection, especially more fresh fruit, vegetables, and dark bread. Some improvements could be made here to make the buffet a bit more diverse. Unfortunately, dinner was also less than satisfactory. There was a schnitzel that appeared to have come from the freezer and been prepared in a deep fryer. We didn't think this was justified for the price of €17. The rolls, which were served to us dry and at a price of €2.50 each, were also disappointing, as we had expected fresher and better prepared food.

We stayed 3 nights during the 3rd week of May. For that period that everything was closed around in my opinion too expensive, one night €190 The service is not at all up to the price they ask. But given the place where it is located you take advantage a bit.. Anyway the room furnished very well, nice, lake view, warm, clean. A large window the only flaw that there is no curtain so in the evening you had to close the shutters because you could see outside. The very spacious bathroom with everything you need. The double bed (two singles attached) But comfortable enough to sleep including the pillows. The room without a fridge, which in my opinion in the summer when it is hot it is very appropriate, but they are choices and that's fine. The thing I really appreciated was the tree coat rack and the paper wallpaper, with the black and white photo of the forest, very beautiful 😊 There is also the tidying of the rooms, change of towels etc. The night before we chose to have dinner there since they had told us that we are in time.. halfway through dinner the boy had turned off the music without saying anything, dinner we do not talk about 🫣 a mess all badly reheated. Instant polenta could not be seen 🫢 mushrooms from the box passed for mixed mushrooms collected if bye, a little oiled galore and off we go 😂 For me they can close the restaurant. The poor breakfast. They choose the sweet things for you, butter, packaged jams. Buffet includes: Boiled eggs, cold cuts, speck, cooked ham, plain yogurt and classic muesli. Orange juice and water. For hot drinks, they prepare them on the spot which is a plus in my opinion. All in all it went well. The girl was very kind, also quite helpful. The hotel also has some parking spaces, I don't know if in the summer or winter it is paid. Then later a nice fox passed by 😍 Aw !! I want to add that the hotel for disabled people is not very suitable unfortunately. But yes it can always improve obviously!!

We stopped off here for lunch as we were touring the Dolomites and this restaurant was the chosen one to stop off at by the tour group.The setting overlooking the frozen Misurina lake and snow capped peaks was breathtaking but the poor choice of food for myself as a pescatarian let down the experience.My partner enjoyed his Goulash but my fried cheese on red cabbage was awful,swimming in grease and not at all appetising,so I left hungry.The prices are extortionate and I feel you are paying for the location and not the quality of the food which is a shame.

This was a restaurant our tourguide suggested and it did not disappoint. The view alone from the restaurant was amazing, the staff was friendly and helped decide what I would try. I’m very adventurous so I tried the deer steak, the bowl of soup and fried cheese with some red wine. It was delicious! I’m so glad Tia place was near the sights we visited as it is indeed a hidden gem.
