Food good, by Italian standards, but not very good. Ambiance and service very good. The view and the surrounding old village: sensational! We would come back at any time.

Seven of us spontaneously went here for dinner. Had a delicious starter and bruscetta - highly recommended. Then tagliatelle with venison ragout - delicious and something completely different.

I gave 4 stars because I only eat pizza and I can't judge the other dishes. The environment is warm and pleasant... very familiar. In fact it is managed and looked after by a lovely family who treats customers as if they were part of it. Everyone is very kind. Accurate service. They also make gluten free pizzas.

Abbiamo cenato benissimo, ottimi gli sciat fritti alla perfezione belli asciutti (purtroppo in troppi posti li ho trovati straunti). Ottima anche la carne. Servizio solerte e cortese senza essere invadente. Consigliato

La Taverna di Rugantino

04/06/2025: Un vero angolo di Roma lontano da Roma. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e, più importante ancora, lo staff è veramente simpatico e preparato. Cibo ottimo, prezzi ottimi, locale bello e molto "vero" nella sua identità romana. Ce lo avevano consigliato degli amici e siamo felicissimi di essere finalmente riusciti ad andarci. Torneremo senz'altro presto(e spesso).
26/05/2025: Good food, shame about the prices, a glass of Ercole 7 euros, a coffee 2.5 euros, too much...
