Whenever we visit or fly through Rome from Australia, we stay at the Radio Hotel opposite Ristorante Al Vecchio Mulino. Over the years we have made it our "local". It is very much a restaurant for local people, and the atmosphere, welcome, service and, of course, the food is always lovely and totally unpretencious! Whether we are celebrating, or needing a meal when exhausted, we have never been disappointed! Thank you! John & Heather

Cheap !!! Well, but nothing more, you want to experience a local restaurant without tourists, to experience Italy as if you were one of them, then yes, the experience was worth it!

Typical vintage restaurant where the flavors of the past can still be found We mainly eat fish, but if you ask for a nice typical Roman dish, bucatini alla matriciana, they are served in generous portions and I would say very good. Regarding prices, considering the increases in the catering sector, they are excellent Among other things, it is a 5-minute walk from Trastevere station

27/08/2024: Delicious pizza! It awakened in me very ancient memories of a pizza I ate, more than 60 years ago, with my grandfather in Cervetri... that aroma... that flavour... what a thrill! In Fregene at that time there were no pizzerias and we went all the way to Cervetri to eat pizza 🍕. Go there! No to Cervetri ehhh, that fairy pizza is no longer there...go to the snack! Cod fillet and courgette flower are also good
21/08/2024: Good pizza, pasta and tiramisu… Good spaghetti with clams What makes the difference is the courtesy of the house. Even though they were understaffed (and not through any fault of their own, but because there are no more waiters to be found)… they remained lucid… both with the service and with the production. Advised.
