We're in Val Susa, at Taverna Vin e Crin, a place whose only "tavern" quality is its welcome, because the menu is that of a truly elite restaurant. ​The Cuisine: A perfect balance between Piedmontese roots and constant innovation. We went from a masterful grilled meat to a spaghetti with eggplant, swordfish ragù, and almond brittle that could only be described as surprising. Dishes that are never banal, born of constant research. ​The Wine Cellar: Forget the usual house carafe. Here, the selection of bottles is amazing, designed for those seeking a unique label, far removed from the banality of traditional village trattorias. ​The Atmosphere: A refined atmosphere and a cheerful staff, driven by the desire to offer an experience that goes far beyond simply "eating." ​All this at an incredible value. 08/03/2026: Invited to lunch for bagna cauda. The food was barely adequate, the staff...not very present. The atmosphere was simple, good for a trattoria. I want to go back for the barbecue. (Hopefully!)
