Really welcoming location, food of excellent quality and well presented, the wines are also very good. Owners and dining room staff very attentive and helpful. Really recommended. Normally... watch out for the prices of the dishes outside the menu. I noticed a brief menu but then there is a vast choice expressed verbally... the two of us spent just under €100 which is quite expensive compared to the quality... I recommend covering the desserts especially given their location

What dishes... I haven't eaten so well in a long time despite frequenting restaurants very often. Cuisine of substance and tradition, not for jocks who look for crudités and nouvelle cuisine and call grandmother's cuisine: polenta and cod, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, bigoli with duck ragù, tortellini in capon broth, rabbit with almonds, guinea fowl legs with radicchio. Just to mention what we ate at my table. All expertly cooked. Unfortunately my grandmother didn't cook so well also because once upon a time this was how the Counts, Dukes, Marquises and "Lords" ate. Excellent desserts. I wonder if accompanying all the desserts with a spoonful of excellent dark chocolate taken from a "paint" type bucket is not something the friendly owner wanted to ridicule the many squeamish people. If so, it deserves not only 5 stars but also praise.

Ambiente rustico gli arredi e le travi in legno danno molto calore. Il proprietario molto simpatico e ci ha fatti sentire a nostro agio da subito. Non c'è un menù, o meglio, quello che trovi al tavolo ti indica i prezzi, il menù lo illustra lui. Ottimo cibo, piatti curati, della tradizione ma con un pizzico di innovazione. Non è economico ma il prezzo vale la qualità, magari aggiusterei i prezzi della carne. Ci ha coccolati essendo la prima volta offrendoci un assaggio di un terzo antipasto e un assaggio di 3 dolci. Sicuramente ci torneremo!!!
