Excellent restaurant, especially for the homemade potato gnocchi, served with a wide variety of delicious sauces, all worth trying. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly, and the setting offers a beautiful view of the valley and the stream.
Reservations are recommended to ensure a spot, as it's very popular.

A must-see in Posina... history, tradition, and a fantastic gnocchi feast! We had a tasting with numerous sauces, each one better than the last. Very nice and well-kept atmosphere, superb view. Everyone was very kind. Highly recommended.

This historic restaurant in the center of Posina is famous for its gnocchi, a characteristic it shares with other trattorias in the area.
We ordered an appetizer and three gnocchi samples, which were truly excellent. There's a wide variety of sauces to pair with them.
The atmosphere is quiet, and the service is good. It also functions as a bar. There's limited parking in front, but there's plenty of parking near the soccer field, and a few steps take you to the Garibaldino quickly.

You can't go wrong when you go to Garibaldino if you want to try some local specialties.
Recommended
Trip with the CAI (Italian Alpine Club) in Ovada. Room with a spectacular bathroom and excellent towels, clean and very quiet. Ample parking nearby.

Questo albergo-ristorante prende il nome da Giovanni Stedile, abitante di Posina combattente per la libertà, al fianco di Garibaldi, il quale aprì l'osteria nel 1890, ancora oggi a conduzione famigliare.Questo luogo è migliorato via via grazie alle opere degli eredi che ripropongono anche piatti rielaborati in chiave moderna pur integrando la tradizione.Il personale molto ospitale segue i clienti in modo impeccabile con puntualità e piatti caserecci e saporiti.Molti i primi piatti, i taglieri di prodotti locali ma soprattutto gnocchi a farla da principe, fatti a mano con le patate di Posina e mani sapienti.
Potrei dirvi ambiente pulito ,potrei anche dirvi buona cucina,inoltre potrei anche dirvi personale attento ad ogni esigenza del cliente in un ambiente tranquillo e riservato Però sinceramente vi dico se passate da queste parti vale la pena prenotare e fermarsi per una semplice mangiata oppure per un soggiorno magari in vista di una camminata alle 52 gallerie che da qui distano solo una decina di kilometri
