Ristorante Al Fogolar In Gorizia

The atmosphere is very nice, characterized by having a real fire in the middle of the room on which the meat is cooked. Starting from the appetizer, tartare with hot bread and butter and canapé with lard: good, but the lard exceptional. As a first course, a risotto with sausage and asparagus, which didn't excite me much as the flavor of both was covered by the creaming of the risotto. As a second course, a good medium-cooked cut. What can I say, pure spectacle! Perfectly cooked, soft meat that melted in your mouth. The dessert was once again indifferent: tiramisu too sweet, you couldn't taste the coffee. In the meantime, I downed three glasses of water. In short, if you want to eat well-made meat, this is one of the places I would return to without batting an eyelid.

At the center of this restaurant is the meat, excellent and expertly prepared in my opinion, perfect accompanied with seasonal vegetables that are offered by the trolley. The gnocchi with pumpkin and smoked ricotta are also very good. The place is simple and welcoming, with attentive and kind waitstaff. The price is quite in line with similar places, where, however, the side dish is included in the price of the meat.

Restaurant with a classic atmosphere, with a typical design of the area and elegant interiors, without being too formal in terms of clothing. The main room is dominated by a large exposed ember, with a fireplace above the grill, giving a unique visual and olfactory experience. Watching the chef prepare succulent cuts of meat over the fire is truly fascinating. The scent of grilled meat envelops you from the first moment, but without bothering you. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The prices are not low, but in my opinion adequate for the quality of the food and the "experience" offered. Recommended for those looking for an evening of taste and atmosphere.

All really good, the two of us spent €167 to eat some real delicacies. We had tartare, lard and finally a Florentine steak weighing 1.500 kg to share. Fantastic experience, delicious meat.

Locale molto carino all’interno ma l’esterno non merita, il contesto del giardino non è ben tenuto. Le pietanze come al solito ottime, ma vorrei soffermarmi sulla totale mancanza di tatto del cameriere che ci ha molto indisposto. Sicuramente farò passare del tempo prima di mettere piede nel locale.
