My husband and I were there on 06/25/25, very kind staff, very good and well-kept food, very clean and well-kept place.. we will definitely be back.. the right price.. Restaurant near the cathedral, wonderful, really worth it.

A gastronomic jewel in the heart of Acerenza. During our stay in Acerenza, we had the pleasure of dining at Al Duomo, a restaurant and pizzeria that won us over from the first moment. The staff was extremely kind and polite, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The place is cared for down to the smallest details, clean and tidy, a sign of great attention and professionalism. The cuisine was a real revelation: we tasted delicious, light and tasty fritters, and a simply excellent pizza, fragrant and well-filled. All served with perfect timing and a sincere smile. A truly special moment was the meeting with the pizza chef, a friendly and passionate person, who also honored us with an artisanal bread made by him: a simple but precious gesture, which tells the authenticity of this place. Il Duomo deserves much more than 5 stars, for the hospitality, the quality of the food and the authentic atmosphere it manages to convey. An unmissable stop in Acerenza, which we enthusiastically recommend to everyone.

English: We were finally guests of Basilicata Alpaca and we chose to stay for lunch in Acerenza, a small and quiet village with a beautiful view of the local hills. We did not book or inquire beforehand since the stop was not planned, but right in front of the cathedral we saw the small sign of the restaurant "Al Duomo" still closed at that time, and we asked if it was possible to book. Having agreed, we entered at 1 pm sharp and found a welcoming, very clean, airy environment in line with the village without modern minimalist upheavals. There were 5 of us and we ordered five-star dishes presented in a perfect way. All the staff and the chef were indescribably kind and skilled. The prices were absolutely reasonable in relation to the very high quality of the dishes, which were regional cuisine but anything but obvious in the combinations. I recommend them hands down and we will definitely be back

A very successful and unexpected unscheduled trip. A place where you are welcomed and excellent and well-prepared cuisine. A bit far away, but I recommend it as a stop for a tour in Basilicata. Lovers on two wheels especially for you do not forget to include it in your cost to cost tour Basilicata

We have been to this place and I can truly say that it is the best, everything we ordered was excellent, from the cold cuts, cheeses to the pizza, one of the best we have ever eaten! Welcoming and very kind staff. We will definitely be back every time we are in the area. See you soon!

A few years ago I already wrote a positive review because I was struck by the quality of the food and the perfect combination of ingredients. Today I returned and, in addition to finding the same goodness, I was able to appreciate that everything has improved and perhaps reached perfection 🥰 I highly recommend going to this small restaurant where you can essentially breathe the love for the great Lucania, a humble but genuine land 😘

Il Duomo is not just a place to eat, it is a place to return to, return to and return to again. Divine cuisine, whatever you choose to eat will be excellent thanks to the mastery of its chef who combines with passion and immeasurable talent flavors and presentations that make the meal a magnificent culinary experience. Last but not least, the attention given by all the staff to people 'with special needs'; this is a place where you will NEVER feel uncomfortable if you are accompanied by 'differently abled', on the contrary, as happened to me, you will want to return and return because our special kids feel at ease and want to be the first to go to the Duomo whenever possible. Una piacevolissima scoperta, di fianco alla bella cattedrale, questo bel locale, punta all'eccellenza e oggi nei piatti l'abbiamo gustata, bravo chef, servizio perfetto e prezzi ok Torneremo

Ottimo cibo, di altissima qualità sia in termini di materia prima che di preparazione. Abbiamo preso le montanarine fritte, la torre di melanzane, mozzarella e basilico di pesto, una pizza meravigliosa con patate e pancetta, e un grigliata mista di carne. Tutto squisito. Il dessert non ci ha entusiasmato, ma chiudiamo un occhio (pare che i dolci fatti da loro non fossero temporanea disponibili). Proprietario gentile, così come la cameriera, sorridente e disponibile. Location unica, ma rifarei completamente l'arredo. Quel palazzo merita un allestimento all'altezza. Buona fortuna e grazie per la splendida cena. P. S. Non siamo riusciti a fotografare tutti i piatti.
