Ristorante Al Castagneto In Priola

Discovered last Sunday, finally some real home cooking, with excellent ingredients, beautifully cooked. The menu is rich, varied, and complete. We even had several seconds... everything was excellent and easy to digest. Well done, we'll be back. I recommend it.

A delight from starter to dessert.

For over ten years now, I've been a loyal customer of this excellent family-run restaurant, frequenting both for business lunches and on holidays, and I've never been disappointed. The cuisine is authentic, all homemade, from fresh pasta to desserts, using fresh seasonal produce, often from their own farm. For this reason, the menu varies seasonally and sometimes even daily, as dishes are prepared based on the availability of raw materials. The restaurant specializes in mushroom-based dishes, which are offered in various courses, from appetizers to tasty first courses (risotto and tagliolini), and fantastic fried mushrooms! The chestnut-based dishes are also excellent, and they're used in various dishes, from appetizers to delicious desserts, including the bunet and gelato. The portions are generous, and when possible, they often offer second helpings. The restaurant is very welcoming, and the staff is extremely friendly. I'd especially like to mention Emanuela, a young woman full of enthusiasm and vitality, who is the beating heart of this restaurant. New photos of the autumn menu featuring tasty porcini mushrooms and chestnut bunets have been added.

Everything was wonderful. We spent a wonderful Sunday filled with delicious flavors, opting for the mushroom menu, which turned out to be exceptional. I highly recommend it; be sure to book in advance as it's always busy!

I returned to Castagneto last Sunday, where I'd been before, and it proved to be a reliable choice. The food was excellent, with generous portions and a fair price for the quality and quantity of the dishes. It's a family-run restaurant, with a genuine atmosphere and a genuine sense of care in everything they serve. Highly recommended, it's truly worth it!

We've eaten there several times and slept in one night...always excellent! The food is superb, with Emanuela putting passion and kindness into it, resulting in exceptional results. The room was clean and perfect for a relaxing and restful evening! Highly recommended! 🙂👍🏻

È da circa dieci anni che frequenti questo ottimo ristorante a conduzione familiare , sia per pranzi di lavoro sia per pranzi in giornate festive dai quali non sono mai rimasta delusa. La cucina è genuina, tutti piatti fatti in casa, dalla pasta fresca ai dolci , utilizzando prodotti freschi di stagione e spesso di loro produzione. Per questo il menù varia a seconda del periodo e a volte anche a seconda delle giornate, proprio perché i piatti vengono cucinati in base alla disponibilità delle materie prime. Il ristorante è specializzato nella preparazione di piatti a base di funghi che vengono proposti in varie portate, a partire dagli antipasti, gustosi primi (risotti e tagliolini) e fantastici funghi fritti!! Ottimi anche i piatti a base di castagne, anche queste utilizzate per la preparazione di diversi piatti, quali antipasti e deliziosi dolci tra cui segnalo il bunet ed il gelato. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e spesso, quando possibile, viene proposta la possibilità di un bis. Il locale è molto accogliente ed il personale gentilissimo. Una nota di merito particolare va ad Emanuela, una ragazza piena di entusiasmo e di vitalità che è il cuore pulsante di questo ristorante.
