The setting is very scenic, almost theatrical, with references to Piedmontese tradition and the atmosphere of the Fat Ox Fair. However, once seated, you realize the space is truly limited: the tables are very close together, and eating is quite uncomfortable. Moving or getting up to wash your hands is almost a feat.
Gastronomically, the quality of the ingredients is good, and the local tradition is evident.
We sampled appetizers and typical dishes related to the Fat Ox: tender and flavorful raw meat, well-made tajarin with ragù, flavorful ravioli, and of course the boiled meats served with the classic side of mashed potatoes and various sauces. However, for some courses the portions are rather small, and seconds are not available, a real shame, considering the type of menu and the conviviality expected from such a lunch.
The sauces, though numerous and beautifully presented, are uneven: some are very good (like the Bagnetto Verde), others less convincing in terms of balance and flavor intensity. Greater attention to this aspect would certainly enhance the main course.
The selection of local wines is also interesting: Ciabot's 2024 Dogliani pairs well with the meat dishes, and the hazelnut liqueur at the end rounds off the meal in a pleasant and typically Piedmontese way.
In short, a positive experience for those who love tradition and want to experience the atmosphere of the fair, but with some reservations about the comfort and generous portions. The overall impression is good, but there is room for improvement, especially in the management of space and attention to certain details in the kitchen.

We had a great time. Ample parking 🅿️ given the restaurant's "peripheral" location, near the highway toll booth, very easy to reach without getting lost. The ambiance is striking (stable-style, very original). The service was excellent (special mention goes to the very friendly Senegalese girl who explained and served the menu impeccably and professionally, always accompanying the entire service with a warm smile). The rest of the staff also moved confidently and quickly among the diners. The quality of the mixed boiled meats was excellent, "but"... a small but that would have made our lunch even more enjoyable. The "7" sauces were composed (as pictured) of an excellent green sauce, red sauce, and mustard. Basically: instead of 7 sauces, small bowls with 3 sauces were served. (When they were brought to the table, they were listed and the waiter mentioned "Salsa Rubra," the Italian name for classic ketchup.) A Bagnet ross would have been greatly appreciated at a table of about three-quarters Piedmontese. As for the rest: thank you for making our lunch enjoyable with your menu. We'll definitely be back. (After editing my original review, I'd like to add that we'll be back and try your Piedmontese red sauce, too.) ;-)

I had a truly wonderful meal! 🥩
The boiled meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, served with sauces and side dishes that enhanced its flavor. A traditional dish prepared as it should be, with a homely, caring taste. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere—highly recommended! 👏🍷

Locale ubicato in vicinanza del casello autostradale,ambiente vasto con arredamento rustico,molti camerieri che garantiscono un servizio veloce.
Il locale a pranzo fa anche il menu lavoro mi pare a €14,anche per questo motivo c'è una grande affluenza.
Ho scelto di pranzare alla carta,scegliendo come primo maccheroncini al torchio con ragu' di vitello,pasta con cottura corretta ma il ragu' era piuttosto salato.
Come secondo una tagliata di manzo con contorno di patatine fritte,discreta.
Rapporto qualita'/prezzo nella media della zona,mi aspettavo che il contorno fosse compreso nel prezzo del secondo,invece era a parte a €4.
Giudizio complessivo discreto.

Locale accogliente e arredato in stile che richiama fortemente la Fiera Nazionale del Bue Grasso di Carrù. Ampio e comodo parcheggio antistante la struttura. Accoglienza cordiale e professionale. Servizio impeccabile. Antipasto misto: giardiniera, vitello tonnato, battuta, insalata russa e pancake con prosciutto crudo. A seguire tagliata: la qualità dei piatti è molto buona e la quantità risulta essere adeguata. Prezzo finale corretto. Sicuramente da provare.
