The food is delicious. The beef in green pepper sauce is amazing.

Good place for wild boar ragù pasta. Place can be a little squeeze when it is full…. But then I’m a big guy. The swordfish was also good. Seafood had been fresh the few times I visited.

Amazing Carbonara! The best one we had in Italy. Service could be improved, but I think
this is standard in Italy. Also, sitting outside probably isn’t a good idea if you are sensitive to smoke from cigarettes and from cars passing by every minute.

We booked this restaurant well in advance due to the recommendation of many friends who had already come to Rome and what a hit! This restaurant was amazing - despite the huge noise inside the restaurant due to a table of more than 10 people. The service was impeccable and the food too! We ordered a focaccia with straciatella, mortadella and pistachio for starter; papardelle with wild boar ragout and stracinati with truffle and guanciale as main dish; tiramisu for dessert. And everything was very tasty. The house wine is also very good!

Trovato per caso lo scorso anno in visita a Roma. Abbiamo pranzato e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Quest' anno ci siamo ritornati e confermo la soddisfazione. Io preso lasagna carciofi e salsiccia e per secondo trippa. Tutto buono. Personale cortese. Gradita prenotazione perché sempre molto frequentato

What a fantastic restaurant! A stone’s throw from the Spanish Steps. We were so well looked after by Renzo.
Over two visits in 4 nights, we sampled: Roast Lamb with roast potatoes, Lamb cutlets, Seafood Linguine, Pappardelle with wild boar sauce, slivers of Octapus salad, Prosciutto and mozzarella , mlnistrone soup with gorgous crusty bread, spaghetti alle vongole , home made cantuccini biscotti , filet steak with a peppercorn sauce, veal cutlet with roast potatoes. I cannot remember all we had but everything was delicous.
Meat portions are large- great if you are hungry after walking all over Rome.
You do need to book as this restaurant is very popular. Some of the dates next year 2025 have already been booked out! For example St Patricks Day, and the rugby dates.
The food is excellent and not expensive considering the very high quality.
We were served by Renzo, and he made our meals even better by entertaing us with stories! What an upbeat person.! It’s amazing what a difference a nice waiter makes to the meal.
The manager also is so nice and welcoming. We look forward to returning here on our next visit to Rome.
