Very beautiful courtyard under vines, very good food!

Very nice place especially if you eat outside under the vineyard, we ate in the evening and it was already nice like this, at lunch it must be even better. Food of excellent quality, carefully chosen by the manager and local/agricultural products (also explicitly stated by the manager). Very good lard, cheeses and mustard as well. Very soft sliced ​​steak, very tasty donkey stew. The owners very kind and helpful, also with the timing of the courses. Fair price also in view of the quantity on the plate. 2 appetizers and 2 second courses with coffee 35 euros. Highly recommended.

Three of us had lunch today, ordered cheese with mustard, cotechino, Agnoli in broth, two asparagus risottos and spinach. All very good. We had a small inconvenience which the staff was able to handle with professionalism and extreme courtesy, which was not at all a given. The sbrisolona is also excellent. Thank you, if we return to Mantua from Turin we will certainly stop by to visit you!

I chose this place to have lunch with friends during a trip to Mantua on the recent holiday of April 25th. First of all the place is very central and very beautiful, there is a vineyard (under which we ate) which must be spectacular in autumn, but the interiors are also elegant, the services clean and spacious. The staff were very kind and friendly, the service was quick and professional. As for the food, the experience was truly excellent: they served us two platters of cheeses and cold cuts with mustard and other condiments, which would have been for two people but we tasted them abundantly in 7. The other dishes were exquisite, starting from the typical pumpkin and amaretti tortelli up to the risottos with sausage, or with asparagus and taleggio. Finally, the price, which to define as honest is an understatement: at first I even thought they were wrong, then I saw that it actually corresponded to what was indicated and they probably offered us the bitters. In conclusion, a truly excellent experience, highly recommended to anyone who is in Mantua and wants to have a happy immersion in the local cuisine.

We made a reservation for 1pm, but we sat down early. Good service and excellent and fair bill for 3 people. Excellent duck tagliatelle and pumpkin tortello. Definitely to return. 🔝🔝🔝

La location del ristorante è al piano terra di un palazzo al centro di Mantova, ha un bel cortile e degli interni storici che richiamano la lunga tradizione che lo accompagna. Servizio molto cordiale, quasi casalingo, piatti tipici mantovani con porzioni più che generose, antipasto con buona varietà di salumi, formaggi polentina e giardiniera; ottimo lo stracotto di asino con polenta. Molto apprezzata la sbrisolona che abbiamo portato via vista la quantità abbondante. Prezzi onesti.

Trattoria tradizionale situata nel centro di Mantova con un bel portico ed ampi spazi interni . Un bel posto dove gustare piatti tipici in atmosfera amichevole e gentile
