Ristorante - Agriturismo La Selva In Vico equense

Siamo stati a La Selva per la serata “pizza” a 20€ a persona e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. Il prezzo includeva antipasto frittelle e giro pizza, e tutto era di ottima qualità. Gli affettati erano freschi e saporiti, la mozzarella davvero eccellente, e le pizze… una più buona dell’altra! Impasto leggero, ben lievitato, ingredienti genuini e combinazioni sfiziose. Il servizio è stato cortese e veloce, nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Un posto perfetto per una serata in compagnia all’insegna del buon cibo. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

We were there for Mother's Day, everything was good

For what you pay, fixed menu €30 + drinks, the level of food is really high! The location is really beautiful and the animals help ensure a nice day to spend with families and children

After some time I returned to this farmhouse surrounded by greenery, where in the past I have always eaten well. The location remains enchanting and the main dishes, especially the first courses and the meat, confirm the quality and authenticity that I remembered. However, I have to point out some negative notes that disappointed me. The appetizers, once rich and varied, have been significantly reduced both in quantity and variety. But the real flaw is the house wine: unfortunately it is undrinkable, so much so that I strongly advise against it - better to avoid it or opt for something else, if available. Another detail I noticed is that limoncello is no longer offered at the end of the meal, a courtesy that was pleasant and which has now been replaced by just coffee; any liquors are subject to charges. In summary, it remains a pleasant place to eat well, but with some questionable choices that lower the overall experience compared to the past.
