If you speak Italian, excellent. The waiters are fun, and the spaghetti al nero di seppia is superb. The calamari is delicious, and the chef even gave us some fritole. Paired with Valpolicela Classico, it's like being reborn in Venice. Of course, if you arrive with an open mind and a positive attitude, they'll shine. If you're arrogant, you'll get the treatment you deserve. This is where real Venetians eat—gondoliers, workers, and so on.

Squid ink pasta tastes great. Beef liver is also very delicious. Sea bass is fresh and flavorful.

Had a beautiful meal in here, we both had the fillet steak and the tiramisu. Elton & Sylvio were very welcoming, would highly recommend.

GROM - Il Gelato come una volta

28/10/2025: Super delicious and creamy flavor! Lovely service. The flavors are on the wall, the gelato is covered (as some gelato purists say it should be). Highly recommend!
08/10/2025: I've been to Grom many times in the evenings and always get the lemon gelato, which is delicious. The service and communication with customers are excellent, and the Chinese woman in particular is very friendly and knowledgeable. A beautiful and unique place that you can't miss in Venice!

14/02/2026: The restaurant is very nice but cramped; the waitress barely had room to serve. The waitress was alone, and the restaurant was full. Waiting a little longer wasn't a problem. But 40 minutes to order drinks was really excessive. We only received our food after 1.5 hours (main course, yes; side salad, no). In some restaurants, that's the timeframe for a table reservation, and then you have to leave. Unfortunately, we also had to pay for the cover charge even though we hadn't received one. Quite cheeky. The food was very good, and the salad was large.
03/02/2026: Excellent food and excellent, friendly staff. I will definitely be back.
