Ristorante 1908 In Renon

The loss of the Michelin star was well deserved. While the food is good, it's nothing special. None of the meals have a wow factor. The service is disappointing: the waiter did not explain the dishes, and the head of service is arrogant and fake-friendly.

The 1908 is a wonderful restaurant. Chef Stephan Zippl creates menus of the highest quality using the highest quality regional produce. There are also excellent alternatives to the tripe. The excellent wine pairing, which perfectly complements the menu, is a must. The visit is rounded off by impeccable service. Chapeau!!!

We had a wonderful evening at 1908. One culinary highlight after another. Perfect service. Surprising. Sustainable. Excellent wine selection. Innovative non-alcoholic accompaniments. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
