Ristorante 1908 In Renon

We visited the restaurant some time ago and we still remember it as one of the very best restaurant experiences ever. Superb cooking from hyper local ingredients. We didn't have any expectations but we were totally amazed. Should have more than 1 star

Wir waren für 3 Nächte im Parkhotel Holzner und gleich am ersten Abend zu einem 7 Gänge Menü im "1908". Man kann es gar nicht in Worte fassen, was hier gezaubert wird. Jeder Gang ein kulinarischer Höhepunkt. Mein Mann hatte die begleitenden Weine - auch hier: Eine ausgefallene Weinauswahl nach der anderen. Ich bin Vegetarierin und es war für das Team, meine Gänge "umzustellen". Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir am anderen Abend gleich wieder einen Tisch bestellt haben. Und jetzt die Überraschung: Ich bekam ein komplett neues Menü ohne Fleisch und Fisch. Und es hiess einfach: Na, das haben wir doch gerne gemacht. So wohl gefühlt haben wir uns in einem Sternelokal noch nie.

Dinner with 5-course menu. All excellent, indeed spatial. The wine and alcohol-free glasses are also fabulous. Then you have to try some little gems that are difficult to say or tell. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. The chef also personally presented us with the latest fabulous pralines. The price, clearly being starry, is important but it is really worth it.

Was immer es kostet, es ist sein Geld wert. Phantastisches Essen, sehr guter Service, modernes Ambiente in alten Haus. Jeder Gang ein Kunstwerk! Großartig!!

Lovely place. Exceptional dishes, qualitatively impeccable, aesthetically satisfying. Definitely worth the trip.
