Nice restaurant with great prices for the quality of the food. It seems very authentic to me. The curry and dumplings were delicious, and the staff were very friendly.

The restaurant serves delicious food with very fresh seafood and generous portions. The meat dishes are not my favorite, but it’s definitely a nice spot for a family meal.

Lunch at this restaurant serving typical Chinese food from the Sichuan province. Extensive menu.
It's a far cry from the highly spicy dishes typical of this region, except for one dish we tried.
The restaurant is popular. It can be difficult to find a seat without a reservation.
The food is decent but far from memorable. The flat beans were our favorite. The mapo tofu is pretty average. The pork ribs were inedible (almost non-existent and tough meat). The only spicy dish was the crab. Unfortunately, you eat a lot of the filling and tend to lick the crab shell rather than eat the meat.
The dishes are rather very salty (too much for my taste, which is especially salty).
Friendly service. One of only two Chinese restaurants where this was the case during our stay.
The restaurant is decorated quite simply. Nothing memorable. There is a second dining room in the basement. Prices are rather high considering the quantity on the plate.

The food is all delicious and served quickly. However, it is not spicy enough.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at. It hasn't been influenced by Western tastes. Authentic traditional Chinese dishes and very generous portions.

What can I say? It's been years since I've eaten so well in a Chinese restaurant: crispy spring rolls without oil, spaghetti with amazing prawns, etc., desserts, let's not even talk about them. The service is simple but very efficient and smiling, the atmosphere is like an old Roman trattoria.

Chinese cuisine with dishes inspired by the culinary culture of Sichuan province.
A very different menu from the usual restaurants and spicy food.
This place has always been a little different.
Back in the 1990s, when it was called Hanghzou, it served dishes that were close to original Chinese cuisine and was very popular, especially with Chinese customers.
Today, despite having changed ownership, it continues to offer a diverse and dynamic cuisine.
Prices range from 25 to 40 euros.
Small and basic.
One hundred meters from Santa Maria Maggiore.
Recommended are the Dry Pot and Sichuan Style dishes.
Be careful with the chili pepper.

Too much oil in all the dishes; the Sichuan pot is swimming in oil, even the grilled chicken, cabbage, and cauliflower (side dishes) are full of oil. The grilled chicken and sweet and sour were very tasty. We would have liked more advice when ordering; we ordered way too much, and it seemed as if the server wanted to rush it.
It's a shame; the chicken with rice would have been great here, both in terms of taste and portion size.
Great value for money. Tip: just ask for "no oil" and stick to the grilled dishes (not Sichuan pots), then it can be a good experience.
