If you love meat, this is the place! Best carpaccio I've ever had! Delicious gnocchi, and the large chunks of meat were served.
Being on the roadside, it's a bit noisy, but that also has its charm.

For the second time, we dined with our dog at this restaurant and butcher shop where meat, or rather, ribs, reign supreme. Dining is mostly outdoors on the main street of Castagneto Carducci. The service is fast, professional, and very friendly, as, despite not having booked (highly recommended), we only waited 10 minutes for our table. We ordered a simply fantastic mixed platter, top-quality cured meats, excellent tagliolini carbonara with Cinta Senese pork, and a burger with porcini mushrooms. A great bottle of Chianti, water, coffee with Cantucci and limoncello, and we spent €100...it was worth it. Highly recommended!!

We've been going there for dinner every year on holiday since a friend recommended it. The starters are absolutely fantastic. They have everything from cold to warm starters. We've tried every starter on the menu over the past few years and they've all been incredibly delicious. For main courses, there are many traditional local pasta dishes. All of them are very tasty and plentiful. The wine list is good, and you can taste each wine beforehand. The best part, however, is the meat. Anyone with even the slightest appreciation for good meat and its preparation will have come to heaven. Meat isn't just prepared and served here... it's celebrated. From Chianinna to Maremma, but also Angus, you'll find it here. We always order a Bistecca Fiorentina, at least 1500g. Preferably from an older cow and nicely dry-aged, as the meat has significantly more character and flavor. The friendly waitress brings various cuts of meat to the table beforehand. You can then get advice and choose one or more. 20-30 minutes later, a typical "rare" grilled steak arrives on a cast-iron pan at your table. Seasoned simply with olive oil, butter, rosemary, and salt, and already sliced, you can then cook it to your desired doneness in the pan. The meat is of high quality, very well-aged, with a nice fat content, and simply delicious. The price is hefty, but for such good food, it's worth every cent. The value for money is therefore very good. The chef comes out quite often to check on the food. The servers are super friendly and quick. They all speak English, if Italian isn't so good.

Excellent food, friendly waiters. My only concern, and not just about this restaurant, is how can you pay 90 euros per kilo for a steak when at least 50% of it is bone and fat. Maybe they're exaggerating.

Personale fantastico, molto professionale, gentile e attento.
La carne (tagliata con i funghi) e tagliere toscano molto buoni accompagnati da ottimi vini (uno della casa)
I dolci fatti in casa sono sublimi, veramente squisiti.

Quando qualcuno della zona ti consiglia un posto difficilmente sbaglia e non posso che confermarlo. Prodotti e servizio eccelsi, un peccato averlo trovato in vacanza e non averlo dietro casa perché ci torneremmo sempre. È una chicca spaziale in un contesto da sogno.
Sono le piccole attenzioni a diventare ancora più grandi di fianco a una qualità di alto di livello.
In un mondo in cui duro lavoro e gentilezza difficilmente collidono, ci si innamora ancora di più quando si ritrovano entrambi.
Grazie per questa esperienza che indubbiamente consigliamo e che ripeteremo.
