Very nice restaurant with a nice selection of wines. I went there for an unconventional lunch break.

A charming and well-maintained grill restaurant in the center of Porcari, with well-spaced tables and tasteful decor. This restaurant focuses on meat, and it certainly doesn't disappoint; the tartare is excellent. Several steaks are available, including the Prussian steak, which was bold and incredibly tender. A good selection of wines, and Rossano, the host, will make you feel at home. The price is fair for the quality, highly recommended.

Hidden gem. We wanted to have a steak night and found this restaurant. Very good carpaccio and the steak was perfectly prepared. Service was personal and he did his best to explain everything. If you are looking for a good steak whilst in the area of Lucca, go here!

Top place for true meat connoisseurs, excellent service and a very, very nice, welcoming atmosphere

A nice, very hospitable place. The service is good because you don't really miss anything, with kindness and helpfulness. But I'm giving the food 3 stars not so much because it wasn't good but because the value for money is a bit cheesy. It's okay if you charge me a certain amount per kilo for a certain type of meat, but you can't charge me the same amount for a steak of the same meat, including a fillet and a neck area full of fat that needs to be discarded. I repeat, the food is good, but when you come across someone who knows what's on their plate, you're remiss. Other than that, it was a very pleasant evening, so good value for money. Not fair. Once I pointed this out, the owner made amends, even offering a discount.

Wonderful steak-focused restaurant with a good selection of wine. The proprietor served all the tables when we were there and was so lovely and personable, he made you feel welcome and at home. The tartare and primi were excellent, and we really enjoyed the prussian bistec. The filet portion was best—we would maybe order a filet each next time.

A first for me. There were actually 7 of us with a sweet tooth, so the rating statistics are significant. We were all very satisfied. The tartare was truly excellent in all combinations. The grilled meat, entrecote, etc. Even the fries were really good. The recommended wine was excellent and good value for money. In short, it's impossible not to recommend it. The owners: the icing on the cake. The bill was way below expectations. I will DEFINITELY be back!

Great experience, it's the second time I've been to this place and so I think I can leave a truthful review. - The service is excellent, since the waiter is kind, polite and fast. - the menu has a good choice. - nice and welcoming environment. The quality of the meat is definitely excellent, soft, easy to chew and tasty. A flaw, in my opinion and both times, is that there is a lack of indirect cooking to even out the temperature of the steak, it was hot on the sides while it was colder in the center, but this doesn't change my opinion. I recommend this place.

The food is excellent, the atmosphere and service are excellent

In generale non è andata male...forse mi aspettavo i costi più bassi e una più ampia scelta. Tutto sommato, comunque, consigliato.
