Absolutely nothing to complain about. I think it's one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Excellent value for money, extremely well-prepared dishes, a beautiful setting, and the staff are fantastic. Go there without hesitation!

Celebrated a birthday here with a large group and although the location of the restaurant seems like a tourist trap, we were offered great food at really good prices. If you sit outside on the terrace you have a great view of the lake. Anyone who ends up on a tour of the island has a good place to stop here!

A pleasant day on Lake Maggiore visiting the beautiful Borromean islands enhanced by this excellent stop at the Elvezia restaurant where we had lunch. The location is beautiful especially if you can have lunch on the terrace, as we did, with a lake view. The service is attentive, fast and precise, definitely capable of managing a place like this. However, the thing we appreciated most was the quality of the preparations we tasted. I enjoyed a good risotto with perch creamed with watercress and Castelmagno, to be excellent all that was needed was a savory hint to balance the sweet/delicate part. The large fried lake fish served with vegetable sheets, rustic potatoes and tartar sauce is decidedly excellent. Perfect dish. Our lunch was well accompanied by a Chardonnay from Elena Walch

We spent 3 nights in a superior room facing the lake. A real delight. The breakfast is plentiful and complete. The restaurant serves refined local cuisine and a large wine list. A glass of prosecco is offered as an aperitif. The staff is attentive and many speak several languages. Dream address

Una piacevole giornata sul lago Maggiore a visitare le belle isole borromee impreziosita da questa ottima sosta presso il ristorante Elvezia dove abbiamo pranzato. Bella la location soprattutto se si riesce a pranzare sulla terrazza, come abbiamo fatto noi, con vista lago. Il servizio è attento, veloce e preciso, decisamente in grado di gestire un locale come questo. La cosa che più abbiamo apprezzato è stata comunque la qualità delle preparazioni che abbiamo assaporato. Io ho gustato un buon risotto al persico mantecato con crescione e Castelmagno, per essere ottimo mancava soltanto uno spunto sapido per bilanciare la parte dolce/delicata. Decisamente eccellente il gran fritto di pesce di lago servito con sfoglie di verdure, patate rustiche e salsa tartara. Piatto perfetto. Il nostro pranzo è stato ben accompagnato da uno Chardonnay di Elena Walch

Ristorante accogliente e con vista spettacolare. Menù vario volto a soddisfare diversi gusti. Servizio ottimo, siamo stati serviti velocemente e da camerieri super carini e attenti. Prezzi leggermente alti ma considerando la bellezza del posto ci sta! Consiglio vivamente.
