We really enjoyed our stay here; the view was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. If we travel to Trieste again, we would definitely stay here again.

A truly Italian campsite. If you need space, this isn't the place for you. We were there in winter – at the end of December – and it was wonderful. One downside: fewer sunny pitches in winter. A huge plus: the on-site fish restaurant is fantastic.

Do you want to live in the woods among squirrels, hedgehogs, dormice and witches? This is the right place for you!

It's a very steep and narrow way up to the camp, so the biggest campervans will probably not get up to this camp. The camp and the sanitary facilities are... Rustic and straight forward to its tasks. We stayed one night in November, the services are limited during winter season.

We stayed two nights here which was the perfect location for visiting Trieste. We arrived in the middle with no advance booking and we were made to feel very welcome. We had the perfect spot not too far from a very clean and warm shower block! There appear to be a lot of permanent vans here and it seems busy but the site have some positive rules and regulations to ensure you have a good stay, including detailed instructions on how to get to the centre of Trieste by bus. We thought the price for two nights in the middle of November of €51 was good value as we had electric hook up, water and good amenities. There is a restaurant but we didn’t try it. If travelling in a van and want to explore Trieste we’d recommend this place!

Excellent old-fashioned family campsite. Warm welcome. Clean, hot showers and toilets. Good restaurant. No complaints.

We stayed for three nights. The campsite is exactly as described, and we would gladly return. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the entrance serves delicious fish dishes. We had one of the four top pitches right at the top of the site with a fantastic view of Trieste. The campsite is a bit dated, but this didn't bother us. The 80s atmosphere is definitely present. The last 150 meters to the campsite are steep, but not a problem. The access road to the four top pitches is challenging for vehicles wider than 2.25 meters.

According to other reviews, the spot didn't seem to be good. I can't confirm that. Upon arrival, a very friendly lady immediately came to our car and explained where we could park: right next to the reception and across from the restaurant and restrooms. Super clean and renovated. The view of Trieste confirmed it. It was a pleasant stay. The historic tram provides easy access to Trieste.

We were lucky enough to get one of the most beautiful spots at the top with a fantastic view of the sea and Trieste! Thanks to Milena's intensive efforts, 5 stars for her! Otherwise, there are many permanent campers and many not-so-nice spots. The restaurant has delicious fish dishes and very friendly service. Everyone was very helpful and very nice! We'd love to come back.

Beautiful campsite with a great view of Trieste from the entrance. Unfortunately, the restroom facilities were far too sparse and without toilet paper. The instructions on where to pitch your tent were a bit overly dramatic. In the end, there was only one other tent on the entire site.
