Riso Amaro In Fondi

Finalmente sono riuscito ad andare presso il ristorante riso amaro,ne è falsa la pena, ottimo in tutto,ho scelto nessuno percorso mare e monti ma la scelta l'ho fatta fare allo schef Maurizio, sono rimasto colpito per i sapori e la spiegazione del piatto dal meitre, porzione giusta ad ogni portata ed una esplosione di sapori, infine ho dovuto dire basta in quanto lo schef voleva farmi assaggiare un brasato da urlo, sicuramente nel prossimo futuro la stella arriverà vale,prezzo giusto,da assaggiare l'olio, scoprirete i sapori dell'olio fondano ottimo

Yesterday for the first time I went to this restaurant with my family to celebrate my sister's birthday. I can say that it was a truly unique dining experience and each course was carefully explained to us. The dining room staff was very kind and attentive to our every need. We will definitely be back :)

We went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary, we chose the 5-course fish tasting menu and paired it with a wine chosen by us. It was a fantastic surprise to taste typical local cuisine revisited by the chef, the service and all the staff were really kind and helpful, I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant of this level in the area. The fifth course was supposed to be a dessert but surprisingly it was a dessert tasting, the photos speak for themselves. A pleasant surprise was the absolutely excellent bill compared to the level reached for a dinner. We will definitely come back to try the meat tasting.

Un bel ristorante, con tavoli sia al chiuso sia all’aperto, una ottima carta dei vini, servizio cortese e sopratutto ricette ben preparate e ben presentate. Eccellente l’antipasto iconico dello chef con il “maritozzo” e il “cappuccino” di baccalà dal gusto fresco e avvolgente; molto buono, anche se dal gusto forse un po’ troppo deciso, il primo piatto iconico con fagioli, calamari, cicoria e triglia; deliziosi alcuni dolci, mentre mi ha deluso la sacher, troppo amara.

We chose the 5-course seafood tasting menu. Apart from the extreme slowness (over three hours for the entire dinner), the fish was not the protagonist of the dishes. The attempt at complex preparations and unusual platings, sometimes successful and sometimes less so, is evident but the result is that it becomes difficult to understand the chef's message and in any case the taste is often obscured. The saying “less is more” is very apt here. We were also disappointed by the choice of the sommelier who (after we had bought a first bottle around €50) had asked for advice on a second in the same price range and which would match the dishes arriving (the menu being a surprise and therefore not known ) first of all she advised us on various options and was very competent and friendly, but then the bottle she recommended to us we discovered on the bill that it cost €100... maybe we should have said it first. An experience that, in my humble opinion, is not worth the expense.

Excellent dishes too good but the rule should be added that it is better not to bring animals however all very good
