A beautiful family owned and run authentic italian restaurant tucked in Trastevere. We came TWICE on our 4 day trip and cannot even put into words how delicious everything was. The ambience was delightful with the most incredible staff. Chef came to our table several times and everyone was so attentive. I have never in my life had an experience like this. Everything was beyond amazing and cannot recommend enough

I can’t visit Rome without stopping by this amazing restaurant! 🍽️ It’s simply the best place that serves Italian food the way it should be — authentic flavors, top quality, and a true Italian atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in the heart of Naples. 🇮🇹 I come to Rome occasionally, but this restaurant has become a must-visit every single time. Truly exceptional! 🌟

This was the best meal we had in Italy. We had the scampi ravioli, spinach ravioli. lamb chops, sea bass, and scampi risotto. Everything was amazing! For dessert, we had the ricotta tart with chocolate ganache and tiramisu. Also amazing!!! The service was amazing and everyone was so kind to us. It was so great we will be returning before our trip ends. Highly Recommend! I might have to book another trip to Italy just to eat here!

Locale molto carino e pulito, una gestione familiare molto accogliente! Luigi un mito e anche la figlia meravigliosa! Millefoglie di patate con pesce poesia pura, buona anche la carbonara e amatriciana. Prezzo onesto. Da ritornarci sicuramente!

Rípa 12 es un oasis en el bullicio turístico del Trastevere. Auténtico y con una atmósfera encantadora tiene especialidades de pescado muy romanas y la magia del Cavagliere Luigi el poeta, dueño y recitador de Dante y Leopardi. El tartar de lubina pura poesia también

10/10/2025: Great food. We started with bruschetta, then had the Carbonara and braised oxtail, finished with tiramisu. The Carbonara was decent. I wouldn't call it the world beater like some other had said. The oxtail was very tender and tasty. The tiramisu was also very good.

Miscellanea

18/10/2025: For the second year in a row, I'm coming here with my colleagues and 50 students. The owner even recognized us from last year. The service is extremely friendly, and the food is excellent—it was served simultaneously for the entire group. Students are usually critical of meals for such a large group, but we enjoyed eating here again two days later. Hopefully, see you next year!
