Ripa 12 In Roma

We were in Rome for the tennis internationals and had dinner 2 evenings in a row in this restaurant. On the first evening we both literally "devoured" the spaghetti carbonara, a starter of cured meats and 2 desserts, a tart and a trifle. What can I say... everything was really good in a family atmosphere but still sophisticated and classy compared to all the other places we saw in the Trastevere area. The second evening tonnarelli cacio e pepe with shrimp and courgettes (delicious) Fisherman's risotto (excellent) and beef steak with baked potatoes (meat cooked rare, on specific request, of excellent quality), tiramisu and limoncello cake. Absolutely honest prices compared to the quality of the food and the service (if we then compare them to the prices of Milan...) I absolutely recommend stopping by Ripa 12 to taste the most typical foods of Roman cuisine (carbonara, anatriciana, Coda alla Vaccinara, lamb, cacio e pepe...etc) in an excellent, quiet atmosphere and with friendly staff.

We were here three times, great food, lots of exceptional fish dishes on offer, quiet ambience, nice service, fair prices.

Locale molto carino e pulito, una gestione familiare molto accogliente! Luigi un mito e anche la figlia meravigliosa! Millefoglie di patate con pesce poesia pura, buona anche la carbonara e amatriciana. Prezzo onesto. Da ritornarci sicuramente!

For me French the best fish restaurant in Rome; I was there on May 2 with my wife (for the 4th time in 9 years of visits to the eternal capital) and my two sons with whom we shared this happiness; a more than warm welcome from the Calabrian father and his two daughters, exceptional cuisine concocted by the mother and her son. Delicate and fine cuisine as we French like (we must say it). Impeccable and wonderful service, the dishes arrive at the rhythm of the large tables: sufficiently spaced out for the tasting of the previous one to take place; the wines by the glass are the image of the house: choice appropriate to the dishes and great finesse...Thank you to this Calabrian friend who knows how to welcome us so well..We will come back....if providence accepts it

Elegant restaurant in Trastevere, delicious food and punctual and courteous service. Definitely worth trying and returning.

The best restaurant in Trastevere run by the whole family Market fresh ingredients, excellent fish, very good pasta Mom and dad in the kitchen, children in the dining room. Unavoidable.

Quite a wait for the dishes to arrive, but everything was very, very good.
