I don't entirely agree with the previous recessions. Yes, the waiters can be subtly pushy. But they want to be very accommodating, which is sometimes a bit too much. The food was excellent. At first I was a little shocked at what my pasta looked like. I imagined it to look different, but it was Venetian squid pasta. And this is prepared with its black ink. And I have to say, it was extremely good, one of the best things I ate in Venice. And my friend was also more than impressed with his pizza. The dessert was forced on him while I was briefly on the toilet. But that was also super tasty, even though I'm not a big fan of tiramisu. I would go back at any time. Price performance was also great and is significantly more expensive in Venice.

Nice restaurant, we went in as the looks were of an authentic restaurant. The staff were happy in serving, but the pizza quality was supermarket pizza. We ordered a lot of different foods including pasta, salads, for the price paid and expected ambiance, the restaurant well way short of delivery sadly.

The team were nice, the food was priced fairly well compared to the rest of Venice, past portions were generous.

The food was edible, but for the money we would have expected better. The place itself is quite retro, there were strange smells, and the toilet was incredibly shabby and dirty. The service was nice, but the coperto is quite expensive, 2.5 euros per person, which, as we noticed, surprised everyone at the other tables as well. We would not return here, as for this price we can almost only find better places in that area.

First night in Venice, and we were hot & tired. This inviting spot was a lucky find close to our hotel. The food was delicious, and the servers were attentive. It was exactly what we needed after a long day

We finished 20 day cruise on NCL VIVA and decided to spend two days in Venice...As I happened to walk around and came across "Trattaria Marciana" and was greetedby ovidio...(manager) with impeccable service and manners. Definitely 5 star service...ordered " affettato misto", " Cozze e Vongolealla marinara", "Antipasto di Pesce" along with "Spaghetti di Frutti di Mare", "Spaghetti alla Veneziana con Seppi" and "Spaghetti alla Bolognese"...portions were abundant and delicious...we were totally pleasantly surprised with our dining experience and look forward to coming back. When you come to restaurant, ask for "ovidio" and you won't be disappointed .

We had an excellent experience here! Got seated immediately, the wait staff was FANTASTIC, and the food was delicious. Mussels and clams specifically were magnificent!!

I was very pleased with my dinner here tonight. I had gluten free pasta arrabiata, wonderful garlic flavor with a little spice! In the two weeks I've been in Italy, this was my favorite pasta! They also gave me a complementary shot glass of limoncello after dinner, delicious! Service was very good, no problems!
