A super friendly hut, perfect for the surrounding via ferratas or Monte Pelf. The rooms are clean, the living room with a wood-burning stove is super cozy, and the food is delicious! And it's really reasonably priced. And above all, the owners are super friendly, always smiling. I highly recommend this hut to everyone!

The owners are really nice and helpful, both the dining room and the rooms are spotless and very welcoming. Excellent food!!! It's definitely worth coming up there.

When you arrive at the refuge at 11pm and find a note on the door welcoming you, you feel at home. We then met Fabrizio and Chiara who are a fantastic couple, with a passion for the mountains in their eyes. The refuge is beautiful, surrounded by imposing rock walls and protected by the thin and elegant Gusela del Vescova'. What more could you want. Greetings from the three Tuscans

The managers are kind and smiling. Low menu prices, good food and abundant cake! Panorama on the Schiara group. You can get there from the Bortot houses in 2h 30' with 800 m of altitude difference. You can do the loop by climbing to the Pilon fork (300 m altitude difference) and going down to the Bortot houses (3h 30')

21/06/2025: Historic hotel restaurant in the center of Mel. Renovated and very bright dining room, beautiful view of the countryside and surrounding hills. The service is fast, you will find friendliness and cordiality. The food is good and quality, I recommend the tagliata and the venison. The portions are very generous and the quality/price ratio is inimitable. Absolutely to try after a visit to the village of Mel.

23/07/2025: A simple place just outside Lake Misurina. Very simple dishes, house wines, and a somewhat pricey quality/price ratio.
