Rifugio Vederna In Siror

Followed the access road from Val Noana. A steady climb, with sometimes challenging but never impossible sections. The route near the waterfall (a spring of very fresh water) is fantastic, where the road follows a section carved into the rock. Read the explanatory signs! Arrival at the refuge in an idyllic setting amidst flat meadows and dense surrounding woods. A warm welcome awaits. Excellent menu (a trio of delicious dumplings and spätzle) enjoyed at outdoor tables. Prices more than match the setting. Before setting off, weather permitting, sit outside, overlooking the valley's sunny meadows, sip a glass of herbal grappa and... meditate!

Unfortunately, I didn't sleep there, but the location and food were excellent! And without overtourism.

Excellent location, but above all, super welcoming staff and facilities. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday. Once the refuge doors close in the evening, it feels like being with family. Beautiful!

A short break in paradise. This refuge, not the easiest to access, is worth every foot, bike, or car ride. It's a peaceful, beautiful, and very evocative place. We hiked there and then headed to Stoli, where we stopped for dessert.

Because we always return to places where we've had a good time... Excellent lunches and dinners, enviable views, welcoming and kind hosts. I recommend everyone a relaxing day in this paradise.

A wonderful place, I recommend walking there from Imer, along a forest path that's also an ancient road. Along the path, you'll find two freshwater fountains and a small waterfall. At the refuge, you can dine al fresco with a view of the Pale di San Martino.

We have come here twice now, the first time on foot starting from the Capucetto Rosso path, the second time by car to take my disabled mother-in-law to eat and admire this panorama of tranquility and peace. By car it was a bit challenging because if you meet another car it is a bit problematic to find a cove that allows 2 vehicles to exchange 😅 but we were happy to have returned, we miss the experience with ebikes that we will definitely do
