After a beautiful climb in Val Biandino with the ebikes, my son and I stopped to eat at Tavecchia, two dishes of delicious orecchiette with spinach, amazing polenta and braised meat, sweet water and coffee... 30 EUR. Very honest and makes you want to come back. Well done, keep it up!

Sono stato con i miei bambini a pranzo, ottima l’accoglienza e l’attenzione di tutto lo staff. Non abbiamo usufruito del servizio navetta gratuito ( utile per chi non vuole camminare tanto). Ci siamo dimenticati una maglietta al rifugio e ce ne siamo resi mentre scendevamo: i ragazzi del rifugio si sono coordinati e ci hanno riconsegnato la maglietta durante la discesa. Grazie di cuore. Let's start by saying that the location is enchanting, we are in Val Biandino less than two hours away from the center of Introbio. I stayed here and I'll say one thing straight away: small rooms but at the same time well equipped and clean, I have nothing to add on this. This place is a "base camp", in the sense that from here you can reach various destinations such as the Madonna delle Nevi sanctuary or other important refuges. the dishes are also very good, here you will find classic refuge dishes such as pizzoccheri or stew and many times the dishes are accompanied by cheeses. The service was also excellent, Nadia very kind and helpful with requests. In short, this place is unique, it is a place where you can unplug from everything and enjoy a wonderful holiday. I will definitely go back, I am Enrico's nephew.

Refuge about 2 and a half hours walk from Introbio. Possibility of being picked up back and forth by the jeep. Excellent welcome from the staff, excellent lunch with homemade dishes at a truly super price. Beautiful and large outdoor terrace to enjoy on sunny days. Excellent experience to repeat on other occasions

Amazing place! We spent a night there and for 50€ it's really affordable. It included a giant dinner (multiple courses, many local cheeses and mountain specialties) and nice breakfast. People working there were so helpful and awesome. Big recommendations!

Unique place. We booked a few days before and actually on Sunday lunch it was pretty full. They made us sit at a table with other guests, beautiful, in full refuge style and atmosphere. We shared the courses (fixed menu at €25 each), we shared time and chat with other travellers. The owners of the refuge as well as the staff at the tables are extremely kind, polite and helpful. Food and wine galore and finally homemade cakes. Truly splendid, you couldn't ask for anything better.
