This is the second year we've been back for a nighttime snowshoe hike and an evening with friends. Good food and friendly service. The cookies are also excellent. :)

We went with friends for lunch: Great welcome, great food, excellent organization, but above all, great staff, all very helpful with any needs. The experience of being transported by jeep to the refuge from the car park was the icing on the cake. I recommend it. Franco Florenzi

We came here for lunch after a long hike. Excellent food, fast service. A mountain hut atmosphere with large tables. €25 for a full lunch, including house wine.

I stayed at Rifugio Tavecchia last Saturday for a wedding. Superb service in a fabulous setting, the food was perfectly cooked (and that's not always easy for so many people like at a wedding!) and served on time. Highly recommended!

02/03/2026: Wonderful experience. The direct view of the lake made our lunch unforgettable. The cuisine is top-notch: appetizers, first courses, and second courses were all excellent. Special mention goes to the staff, who were professional and very friendly. The quality-price ratio was good for this type of restaurant. We will definitely be back.
16/02/2026: A charming place with a veranda directly overlooking the lake. The service is always attentive and friendly, and the lakeside dishes are delicious and tasty.

13/03/2026: A beautiful place with a fantastic view, excellent cuisine, very competitive menu, you eat very little and the red wine is fabulous! The road back is a little less so 😆
11/03/2026: A couple's lunch, a first for me. I found a lovely place, clean in the dining room and bathrooms, set with a cloth tablecloth and cloth napkins (not a given). The table already includes bread, breadsticks, glass water, and house red wine. We ate from appetizer to dessert, spending a RIDICULOUS amount. The service was attentive and courteous. We'll be back soon! Thank you and congratulations.
