A truly charming destination in a picturesque valley. The cuisine includes a fixed menu and à la carte options, and you can enjoy polenta in many delicious variations. A must-try, highly recommended.

We visited the refuge over the weekend, after a two-hour and fifteen-minute walk from Roure. The trail to get there is truly stunning and the location of the refuge allows you to enjoy an idyllic view and context. They do not serve lunch to those who have not booked a table, even though there are several free seats. Perhaps the management of reservations could be reviewed.

I took documentation to send to friends in the Asti area. I had shown some photos and they asked me for clarifications and directions to go and visit the location and the place. I am a fan of mountain walks, I left Turin to go and live in Val Chisone, therefore, I am very close to the Rifugio Selleries, of which I am becoming a passionate frequenter also for the service they can offer. I recommend it to all those who like hiking and enjoying the mountain panorama immersed in peace and tranquility.

They serve delicious pizza and seafood, all freshly prepared. It's one of the best spots to enjoy a casual meal in a laid-back setting. We tried several dishes—everything was tasty, but among the desserts, the tiramisu stands out as the best. The wine selection is small but features mostly local varieties, which adds to the authentic experience. The owner is an elderly Italian gentleman who doesn’t speak English, but he has an intuitive sense for recommending dishes you’ll enjoy. Highly recommended for a true local dining experience.
