Beautiful walk from Pra Catinat in the snow! Warm welcome at the refuge (despite it being full). Excellent sandwiches, large and richly filled, eaten while admiring the view! Very fair prices!

We didn't stay overnight, but only had lunch after the snowshoe hike, starting from Pranzo Catinat. The polenta was excellent, the wine was good, but unfortunately we had to forget the desserts.

One of the best refuges in Piedmont. In summer, it's an excellent base for the peaks in the Orsiera Park, while in other seasons, we enjoy a hike from Pra Catinat (1 hour and 30 minutes) to enjoy their delicious polenta.

A charming place surrounded by native wildlife, with beautiful hikes starting from there. Excellent food, comfortable rooms, and a hearty breakfast featuring local products. Thank you for your hospitality, see you next time!

I stumbled upon it by chance on my motorbike months ago and it was a lovely discovery. Now, whenever I'm in the area, I always go there if I can get something to eat. Even when it was packed, they never turned me away... just have a little patience and you'll be fine. The food is good and the homemade desserts are excellent. Thanks, you're great!

10/11/2025: The no-frills aperitivo... Wine on tap but good, the platter consists of a salami and a nice piece of toma cheese. Small bowls of raw meat, giardiniera, olives, taralli, Russian salad, and more... You order and pay directly from your phone, and everything is delivered to your table. Recommended
12/10/2025: I had the pleasure of stopping briefly at this restaurant inside the Galleria Umberto. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff friendly, the food and wine good, and I also appreciated the app-based ordering. See you soon!
