Nice walk to the Selleries refuge, run by very nice people and fabulous desserts. As a celiac I found everything for me too. Fabulous location of the refuge.

Very kind and helpful staff, abundant polenta, delicious deer stew with chocolate. All this at really low prices. How beautiful places like this are, well done, well done!

An absolute amazing rifugio! Everything was far above my expectations! I've travelled a lot and mountaineering is a big passion of me what means staying in a lot of rifugio's as well. I have to admit that Selleries scored very high on my list. Excellent clean rooms with bedlinnen provided, warm showers and super delicious food! Combine this with a very good price, beautiful view and lovely real mountain hut interior and you got yourself an unique place for a night in the mountains. 100% recommend and I'll be back many more times! The refuge was a stop on our journey between Val Chisone and Val di Susa. It made me laugh a lot to see people arriving at the refuge and criticizing the external appearance of the structure, because in addition to the fact that its rustic style is perfect for a refuge at more than 2000m, it was a wonderful sunny day, with a view of the valley, the mountains and lakes surrounding the refuge so I hadn't even noticed the appearance of the external plaster of the building, but it's a matter of point of view. Once inside the staff is very kind and after a day backpacking it reminds you of the idea of ​​a safe place to rest. The restaurant changes from lunch to dinner, we preferred the tranquility of dinner but the goodness of what you can taste is undoubtedly excellent in both cases, one of its strong points. The beer selection is also excellent. The rooms with the baroque style chandeliers and the 10cm mattress toppers are fantastic.... Of course I'm joking, being in a refuge the rooms are basic, it's already wonderful that they give you a bed with clean sheets and warm blankets ( which is rare given that you usually need a sleeping bag) the cleanliness of the bed is excellent, the room has a little too much dust but it can't be said to be dirty (perhaps the only aspect to improve), the bathrooms however are very clean. A few steps from the refuge we had some wonderful encounters with the local fauna, a truly fantastic experience. Thanks for the nice experience, we will be back.

The refuge is really beautiful, located at 2023m. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, beds with clean sheets and very warm duvets. They also accept dogs ❣️ The only note about the dinner food: you can't decide what to eat because there is a fixed menu. More lunch options for vegetarians too!!

I have read many negative reviews about this place, but we must always remember that we are talking about a refuge at 2023 meters and not a restaurant in the center of Turin. The road isn't very nice to get to by car, but that's certainly not the refuge's fault. My partner and I started from the Selleiraut village, taking a nice walk. The rooms, there is nothing to say, for a refuge they are truly crazy. Ironed sheets, clean room and they even welcome dogs. I think it's one of the few times where a sheet bag isn't necessary in a shelter. The food isn't bad, it's not bomb, but it's not bad. I repeat, we are talking about a refuge, a person cannot expect the mega 5 star menu. We ate polenta with various sauces and types of meat and honestly I liked it, as I liked breakfast. There weren't too many things and what there was was good. Overall, it's a refuge I'll definitely return to.

For a mountain hike, it's great to stop and eat and drink.

Piacevole permanenza in rifugio di tre giorni: cibo buono, persino con qualche raffinatezza e accuratezza per gli standard e i vincoli di un rifugio, camere molto spartane, ma, appunto, camere che permettono la privacy di una famiglia, e comunque accoglienti. Personale molto disponibile e cortese. Possibilità di escursioni ben segnalate e per tutte le difficoltà. Unici nei: forse un po' caro nel complesso, ma soprattutto in estate è raggiungibile in auto da Pracatinat, cosa che attira in alcuni momenti polverosi e rumorosi suv di gitanti e addio pace di montagna. Consiglio invece di salire con un itinerario escursionistico molto bello da Roure.
