27/08/2024: Locale molto bello e caratteristico, menu tipico e rivisitato, servizio buono. Personalmente ho preso il patè di fegatini con gelatina al passito di Valtellina, fichi caramellati e pan brioche e come secondo insalata di cervo, mirtillo nero e chips di polenta e mandorle, tutto ottimo e ben presentato. Un calice di bianco Rezio (a mio gusto discreto) ed uno di Sforzato (ottimo) Unica pecca, per un locale simile, servire il vino al calice senza portare la bottiglia al tavolo, fatto presente mi è stato detto che usano l'erogatore per i vini al calice, secondo me comunque un errore, gradirei sempre vedere l'etichetta della bottiglia.

13/08/2024: The restaurant is one of the hyped places in Bormio and for a reason. Its cellar location is very atmospheric and the staff is very attentive. This region is known for the polenta and this is a great place to try it. Their chanterelle apetizer which comes on a bed of polenta is an absolute taste heaven with some pesto also added. The mountain trout wqs also divine and if a real polenta fan, it’s easy to order one more portion on the side. Stuck with an aperol spritz for this lunchtime meal but the restaurant also has a very nice wine list. Would definitely consider a four-coursed, proper Italian dinner here on a return visit.
