We stumbled upon this inn somewhat by chance, but we're sure we'll be back! We spent a night immersed in nature, surrounded by simplicity and genuine hospitality, qualities that seem increasingly rare these days. Pietro, the owner, proved to be extremely helpful, kind, and capable of making his guests feel at ease. It was truly a pleasant experience. We hope to see you again soon! Rossana and Angelo.

Excellent location, although the road to get there is very winding, but it's worth the trip. The food is homemade but good. Very friendly staff. Recommended for a relaxing day.

A fantastic biker stop with excellent food. The view towards the lake is also beautiful. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the rooms, as we only ate there.

A very enjoyable stay at Malga San Giovanni! Both the restaurant and the rooms met our expectations. The food was delicious, fresh, and prepared with great care. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the surroundings were perfect for rest and relaxation. The very friendly and helpful staff deserve special mention. They were attentive and caring throughout the entire stay. This made you feel truly welcome. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and comfortable accommodations. An additional advantage are the fabulous views – the surrounding mountains and picturesque surroundings create an unforgettable atmosphere and make you want to return.

I accidentally deleted my review from 5 years ago because I didn't click "edit." So, here it is again... This has been one of my go-to tours for 30 years now. And if the accommodation is open, I always recommend stopping here. Many locals come here to eat, and I was once again delighted by the goulash with polenta and sauerkraut – simply fantastic. You should allow yourself some time, though, especially when it's busy, and leave your German hustle and bustle at home 😁... Over the years, I've sat both inside and outside, and service has never been a problem.

Lunch in June: excellent food and equally excellent service. If you're from Veneto, however, I don't recommend drinking the spritz...

A truly unique experience, we recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves completely in nature. Malga San Giovanni is a special place, where time seems to slow down and the beauty of the landscape envelops you. Surrounded by woods, meadows, and silence, with a splendid view of Lake Garda stretching out in the distance, you can experience a sense of peace and authenticity that's hard to find elsewhere. Pietro, the owner, and his entire staff welcomed us with rare kindness and cordiality: upon arrival, they offered us an aperitif with excellent cured meats, making us feel immediately at home. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant deserves a special mention: excellent traditional cuisine, a wide selection on the menu, and high-quality, but above all, local, ingredients. We sampled several dishes, and each was a pleasant surprise, prepared with great care. But what truly makes this malga special is the family atmosphere that permeates every moment. You don't feel like simple guests, but part of a large family. It's one of those places that stays in your heart and is hard to leave. As we left, we were almost a little melancholy, because we wanted to stay longer. Sincere congratulations to Pietro and all his staff for the extraordinary work they do every day.

Very nice cabin with good food, great view towards Lake Garda.

Beautiful place, welcoming and attentive staff... a must-stop for bikers passing by... if you're touring Monte Casale, a stop for a break.
