Great Vegan place to eat anytime

A historic place converted to vegan cuisine. What can I say? The dishes are all delicious, and the prices are fair for the quality of the products offered. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and courteous. The only problem? The location, so small and too crowded to fully enjoy the culinary experience.

The food is delicious, the wait is very short, the location is very nice, the staff is knowledgeable and attentive to customers. The desserts are especially good...they are super good.

The interior is very charming, and there's also the option of dining on the outdoor veranda. The waiters are very attentive, and the food exceeded my expectations. The owner, Mr. Benedetto, is incredibly kind. I'll definitely be back.

Amazing food! Even though it was busy the dishes came out surprisingly quickly. Definitely make a reservation or you might get turned away. We ended up seated on the sidewalk (not the parklet, the actual sidewalk) and it was still absolutely worth it. Every plate was packed with flavor, each with its own distinct taste. The staff was warm and welcoming and our server Jenz was incredibly helpful in guiding us to amazing dishes and dessert. I first visited back in 2019 and I made it a point to return in 2025. Writing this as I wait for dessert which I am certain will not disappoint.

What an amazing experience! I had ordered from Rifugio Romano a few times in previous trips to Rome via Deliveroo and I knew the quality of the food. This time I decided to go with my parents to the restaurant and although it was for a Sunday lunch time I didn’t think about doing a reservation (highly recommended!!) When we arrived there the restaurant was full and the stuff was extremely friendly and nice in their communication, alignment of expectations in terms of timing, the kitchen (that would close for lunch in one hour) and providing some options. We lucky got a table after only 15 minutes of wait and again the service was outstanding. The 3 staff we interacted were friendly, agile and welcoming. I knew the food would be outstanding but the service was a lovely surprise. I can definitely say Rifugio Romano is by far one of the best vegan places I have ever been!

The menu is VERY EXTENSIVE, so you'll be spoiled for choice. The service is fast and friendly. The place is small, so reservations are recommended. I'll be returning to Rome more often for their tiramisu, the best I've ever had.

Il locale ha tutto - estetica, accoglienza, atmosfera - del tipico ristorante turistico romano na l' offerta, assai ampia - è interamente vegana e vegetariana. Ce n'è per tutti i gusti, dai piatti più sani e leggeri a quelli più golosi, comprese le tipicità della cucina romana rivisitate. Può soddisfare a che chi non ha gusti vegetariani in senso stretto (pizza compresa ma non la ho provata ). Cotoletta di seitan davvero buona. Esco sodisfatto, bene il servizio e bravo lo staff. Forse leggermente caro ma in linea col contesto dei locali a offerta soprattutto turistica

Este restaurante fue increíble! La comida es totalmente vegana y tienen un menú extenso. Pedimos muchos platos para poder probar muchos platos. ¡Recomiendo muchísimo los calamares, la lasaña y el filete impreso en 3D! Reservé en línea aproximadamente un mes antes y Valentina fue muy servicial al asegurarse de que nuestra mesa estuviera reservada y lista para nuestra visita. ¡Todos los veganos DEBEN probar esto cuando estén en Roma y cualquiera que no sea vegano debe probarlo, la comida puede ser increíble sin dañar a los animales!
