Delicious dishes, interesting combinations, very friendly service. The room is small but comfortable. I will definitely be back, I'm curious to try some summer offerings!

Truly excellent dishes, well prepared, eating vegan and not realizing it because they are so faithful to the tastes of traditional cuisine. If I pass through Rome I can't help but stop by Rifugio Romano.

My husband & I visited this magnificent all vegan restaurant for my Birthday in October 2024. The food, hospitality & atmosphere was excellent, & I would highly recommend vegans & non vegans alike to book a table & experience it for yourself.
We went for the vegan shrimp with a beautiful lemon tempura batter for starter. Followed by the vegan carbonara which was excellent too. We had to end the meal with the vegan tiramisu and vegan caramel desserts. The vegan caramel was the best dessert I've ever eaten in my life.
We cannot wait to return when next in romantic Rome. Thank you for such an magical experience 💚✨🇮🇹

Rifugio Romano was one of our fav restaurants in Rome. The service was great. The food was tasty. The atmosphere was perfect.
My wife has the pasta with 'bacon' in it (forget the name) and she said it was a 4/5. The pizza we had was fantastic but I would have preferred a bit more basil on it. The pesto was a nice touch though.
Definitely one of the best vegan restaurants in Rome. If that's what you're looking for, give it a try.

I'm not vegan but I ate everything vegan and if I hadn't already known I wouldn't have realized it was all delicious!!! I took courgette flower with alice top👍, super delicious carbonara. They say that tiramisu is amazing but the portions are so large that I couldn't order it, I was full ❤️

Rustic but welcoming atmosphere.
The food. The food is worth the trip. Everything is spectacular.
Carbonara that doesn't make you miss the one with bacon.
Very good cacio e pepe.

Always a guarantee of good food. Very kind staff. Traditional cuisine with also Roman dishes. In particular, I loved the fried octopus and the trifle. I remembered the carbonara being better, but still good. Reservation required because the place is small (there are also outside tables). Please advise when booking if you are bringing dogs (welcome) or prams, due to space issues when assigning the table.

Vegan restaurant. The food was really good, and if you are a vegan, you will definitely enjoy the food. There is a wide variety of options for starters and mains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the experience.

Desideravo da un anno provare questo ristorante ma, non vivendo in Lazio, non mi si era ancora presentata l'occasione. Ci ho portato il marito onnivoro che è rimasto estremamente soddisfatto.
Piatti molto buoni che non hanno deluso le attese, servizio veloce e cortese, un padrone di casa gentile e accogliente.
La frittura di moscardini indimenticabile.
