Great cuisine, homemade dishes at great prices. South Tyrolean cams bis 10/10. Service on point, very fast and always friendly.

The Gitschhütte is a good place to stay while skiing. I have ordered a hot chocolate and the hot lemon here a few times. The Flädle soup is also highly recommended. Unfortunately the hot elderberry and hot Aperol weren't quite what I expected. Especially since I was expecting the “hot punch” drink to be a Christmas market punch and not a hot Aperol. The food at the Gitschhütte is in the middle range. I didn't eat any main courses here, but the portions of my companions looked very large.

In my opinion one of the best huts in the region. Food excellent. Prices humane and reasonable. View 1A. Service super friendly! We were here 3 times in 5 days. Thank you for the lovely stay.

One of the best and the cheapest restaurants that I have ever visited in Dolomites. They are amazing, the food is amazing, the view is amazing. Never skip this place to have lunch.

Beautiful (large) refuge in the Maranza Val Pusteria area... super, certainly in winter right on the ski slopes... in autumn the bright colors make the view amazing! Beautiful refuge, well-stocked with normal prices... you can go up with the cable car or on foot from the town of Maranza... free parking; priceless view! 🏔️ at the top where the large cross is located you have a 360 degree view 😀

From here you have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Children can play in the playground while parents enjoy the (cold) drinks in peace. The dishes are simple but good. The service is friendly and quick.

25/11/2024: Starting point for hikes on the Algunder Waalweg or via St.Peter to Tirol Castle, the Brunnenburg or via the Tappeinerweg to Merano, or further via the Sissiweg to the botanical garden of Trauttmansdorff Castle
09/11/2024: During the walk that would have taken us to Merano starting from Tirolo, we stumbled upon this wonderful Schloss which also offers restaurant service. On nice days you can dine on the terrace which offers spectacular views of the surrounding panorama. The food is well prepared and tasty, accompanied by an excellent Forst beer, poured to perfection, which in these places can be savored in all its magnificence. Freshly prepared roasted chestnuts were also available. Friendly staff, and price commensurate with the location. Nice experience!
