We left from Villabassa to reach Neves Lake.
From there, we climbed up to the refuge.
The hike was a bit difficult but beautiful, among the cows and streams. Once we reached the refuge, we sat down to eat; it's run by very friendly young people. We recommend trying it once in your life.

CAI trip, even though we were a large group, we were welcomed and looked after in a scrupulous and friendly manner. The young and helpful staff, very knowledgeable. A wonderful experience.

We stayed one night in this beautiful, new, and welcoming refuge. The staff, a group of young people, all very talented, friendly, and smiling, welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious!
The view was spectacular, truly unique!

The place was more of a chalet when we chckd in late in d afternoon. FANCY!✨ It filled up, of course, in d evening.
It’s run by a young, energetic, very accomodating team. (We were allowed to partake of what was available fr d breakfast rm SUPER EARLY in d morning✨)
It’s d ONLY hut I’ve been where d staff make an effort to set aside already dry clothes in d Trockenraum to make room for d stuff of newcomers. VERY IMPRESSIVE!
Forgot my harness, & was told to expect it in October when they close for winter. I just received it by post today🤩. 4ever gr8ful🙏🏼
Will definitely pass by/stay if m around d area.

Previous reviews have already spoken, but I'll add my own super positive experience... we left from Foundres (free Dun parking) and after about 3 hours of hiking we reached the refuge, after a 1,100 m elevation gain passing by the idyllic lake of the same name... the guys were super helpful and kind. Rich dishes and a stunning structure... I even bought a T-shirt 👍🏻

One of the best alpine pastures we've ever been to. We didn't stay overnight, but we stopped in after the strenuous climb. The view, the super friendly service, and the amazing food absolutely won us over. It's truly worth it!
