Great hut, great host, great food... Everything was great! Awesome experience, worth all the effort of the climb!

We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful, cozy evening with the guests.

Great location, very modern, friendly hosts. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and functional. Everything is clean. Nice dining room. Drying facilities for clothes and shoes are limited and weren't turned on long enough. During our stay, the hut was completely full. There was very little space in the dining room, and we had to sit at a small table in the passageway. The food portions were only moderately large, and there was no option for seconds. The starter (lasagna) and dessert (panna cotta) were delicious. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection. Again, the dining room was a bit cramped. Very nice hut, but perhaps they should limit the number of guests a bit to avoid compromising on the above-mentioned points.

We hiked the Pfunderer Höhenweg and stayed overnight at the Edelrauthütte. We received a friendly welcome; the rooms are functional and have ample storage space. The view is beautiful. The showers are spacious; you can use hot and cold water at any time. Drying facilities are available. The food is rejuvenating after long days, and the dining room itself is bright and welcoming. Breakfast included fresh fruit and eggs, which made us very happy after a few days without.

The Edlrauthütte is a beautiful hut with wonderful food, friendly staff, definitely again

This was my first time staying in the refuge after it was completely renovated, having been there for about 20 years. This was my first time taking my mom to sleep in a refuge. The room with two bunk beds was nice and clean, with new bathrooms separated by men and women, and coin-operated hot showers. The food was excellent, with a choice of two starters, two main courses, and a dessert. The view was beautiful. We hiked up in two and a half hours from the Neves Lake parking lot.

Only here for lunch. Fantastic location, beautiful refuge, very friendly staff, good food, reasonable prices considering the transportation difficulties.

Wonderful. I think this is what modern cabins can look like without being a hotel. Great.

I almost hate to talk about the magic of this place because I fear I'll ruin it... but how can I not praise it?

What a fantastic hut! From the first second to the last, we felt at home here. This is not only due to the beautifully renovated hut, but also to the very friendly staff and the very personable landlady. The next day, we saw how things weren't done well at another hut, and this one was simply fantastic. The rooms were clean, spacious, and there was plenty of storage space. The restrooms are well maintained and adequate. Last but not least, the food is really very good for a mountain hut, which deserves praise. I would gladly come again.
