Rifugio Pomedes In Cortina d'ampezzo

Beautiful experience in a refuge with a panoramic terrace where every evening a 360° view of the mountains is a real spectacle, the refuge is clean and the staff is very kind, welcoming and fast, equipped with 2 chair lifts, I recommend it🔝🔝 🔝🔝❤

We have had this Rifugio on our Alta Via 1 way and we had to climb up there to the hill Pomedes is on, it was super hard but Pomedes is great place to stay for a night, with a nice people there, and incredible views

On July 12th Alice and Alan decided to get married right here, in this refuge, where peace, freedom and kindness are the protagonists. The staff is particularly kind and helpful, especially Carolina, a fantastic girl who knows how to do her job. The impeccable cuisine, the cleanliness as well. The location.... the most beautiful place in Cortina, with a breathtaking view. In conclusion, the Pomedes refuge is the Pearl of the Ampezzo Dolomites.

Good refugio and nice personnel. No drinkable water and the bottles (max 1 L) cost 5€.. which becomes rather expensive after a day of hiking and a new day coming up; plus it is not very sustainable .. it is unfortunate that they can not find a better solution for this (as it seemed to be the refugio closest to the Cortina centre).

Very nice rifugio, great access to Punta Anna ferrata, 2 smaller ferratas in direct neighbourhood. Each of them will take you about one hour to climb and return to rifugio. Very good food, prices for overnight stay pretty high. Only double rooms, so proces starts at about 140 euro pro night for a room with food. Very nice service. This rigugio is not operating the year, make sure they are oprn if you plan to visit them :-)

Good food - I had their home made ravioli “Punta Anna” - was delicious and extraordinary. Great service, spectacular panorama
