Siamo arrivati al rifugio dopo una camminata nella natura, abbiamo scelto nello specifico questo trekking perché dal sito, come scritto, sembra esserci molta varietà anche per chi non mangia carne… purtroppo però era presente solo un piatto effettivamente vegetariano (tolti i dolci) nonostante ciò cibo molto buono.

Siamo stati al Rifugio Parafulmine due giorni fa, dopo una bella camminata di un'ora e mezza in mezzo alla natura. Arrivati al rifugio abbiamo ammirato il panorama e poi abbiamo gustato le prelibatezze che offriva il menù: brasato con polenta e guancetta di maiale con polenta...che dire OTTIMI!
Peccato non aver assaggiato le torte che c'erano, ma ahimè ero sazia del super piatto.
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

Excellent food, the route to reach it is feasible even for inexperienced people. The only flaw is that there are some trees missing to provide some shade in the summer season.

Refuge located at the top of Monte Farno which offers succulent dishes and a delicious watermelon for lunch. However, we did not try the desserts. The menu follows mountain dishes, such as polenta, mushrooms with grilled cheese, pizzoccheri, stew with polenta. Prices are not that high considering being in refuges.
They do not accept electronic payments, due to the scarcity of telephone/data lines. Fast service, clean environment, including toilets. There are no streams or fountains in the area, just as there is little shade.

Arrived from the Clusone side with a beautiful walk through woods and pastures. The refuge is in a beautiful panoramic position, we found a nice cool breeze even in August. The service is well organized and fast. The dishes we tried (polenta and skewers and polenta with mushrooms and cheese) were tasty and plentiful. Absolutely fair and correct prices. We will be back to try something else!

Beautiful location. Refuge easily reachable from the car park below, wonderful view, good food, space for everyone, friendly, kind and helpful staff...excellent discovery!!!

The refuge is not the only refreshment point in the large area of Val Gandino but it is the most popular. Simple and genuine dishes (braised meat, goulash, melted cheese, pizzoccheri) at high altitude refuge prices. Delicious cakes. Fast service. Very clean. Toilet. I didn't understand if there are rooms.
The area around is a large valley of pastures, therefore little shade, no running water.
Panoramic place to walk, breathe. Ok for bike routes.

Excellent lunch at the refuge both for quality, quantity and price. Arriving at 11.30, we chose what to eat and queued (despite Sunday) quite quickly. Sitting at the table outside, in less than 5 minutes we collected our. tray. Very organised. Rather easy route, also suitable for children. Path in the sun so always try to have water. Dogs accepted outside.
