There were five of us eating; generous portions, good food, and everyone was happy.
Coffee and grappa were offered.

We reached this refuge via the hike that starts at the bottom of the Fedaia Pass dam. After about an hour and a half of walking (even less if you're fit enough to hike on steep trails), you'll reach this magnificent refuge with a stunning view of the Marmolada glacier!
The food is delicious; you can see and, more importantly, taste that it's all homemade!
We stopped for a snack, and I highly recommend trying the strudel and, especially, the Kaiserschmarrn—the best I've ever had! The prices are also more than fair considering the local standards. Come here!

Fresh traditional food made at the refuge, I took the Marmolada dish to taste everything, the prices are good too... and for the finale 4 bitters offered by the house to taste.

After doing the via ferrata delle trincee, we stopped for lunch at this refuge. We ate a "Marmolada" dish that was simply delicious, and at the end the owner offered us some super-delicious grappa. We'll return to these wonderful places and among these people who make you feel at home.

You can get there from Passo Fedaia in 50 minutes, taking your time and bringing the kids. A magnificent view of the Marmolada. Excellent food and service, also good value for money.
