RIfugio Nigritella In Crevoladossola

A well-maintained, welcoming refuge with good food, open only in the summer season. A good place to stop for refreshments before reaching the surrounding peaks or for a break on the way back.

The refuge is easily accessible from Malesco. An excellent location for sunbathing with a view of the entire Vigezzo Valley. The polenta with cheese and the mixed polenta with meat are excellent. The berry tart is delicious.

We spontaneously visited the Rifugio Nigritella on our hiking trip and were thrilled. We received a warm welcome and were accommodated in a super cozy, wood-paneled room with a mountain panorama. Despite our lack of Italian, the friendly staff gave us excellent, hands-on advice on our hiking route and even gave us delicious baked goods! We felt very comfortable, and the warm shower and comfortable beds definitely made our hiking holiday even more enjoyable. A highly recommended trip with a beautiful panorama! We'll be back, thank you very much! 😍

A beautiful mountain refuge, easily reached from the town of Malesco via an uphill path through the woods. The polenta with cheeses is excellent; I wasn't entirely convinced by the polenta with mixed meat sauces, but the house tarts are excellent. Good and fair prices.
