Rifugio Meira Paula In Sampeyre

A splendid refuge accessible only on foot (30 minutes from the upper Puy village) with clear signs and a very simple route. Isolated in nature, it offers a splendid view. It has four rooms, only one of which has a private bathroom, so choose carefully. The rooms are spotless, rustic, and well-organized; they do not have a TV. There is a sauna for relaxation (reservation required). The kindness and helpfulness of the owners is top-notch. The rich and delicious menu is worthy of a real restaurant, not a refuge. The selection of wines and beers is excellent. In short, a unique place for a truly relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

At the Meira Paula refuge, everything is under control and in meticulous order. Clean as a bathroom at home when your mother-in-law comes to visit, meals worthy of a restaurant, and a warm welcome among the best. And if we consider that the managers are a young couple with two kindergarten-age children, well, everything is even more valuable. Well done, and thank you for being there. PS: The sauna alone is worth the hike.

A beautiful haven of peace! Excellent menu, wines, and such friendly service! I'd just add a few more directions along the way from Becetto...there are red and white signs, but very few specific ones for the splendid "Meira Paula." Definitely worth a visit and highly recommended!

Wonderful experience! We were looking for a place to enjoy this beautiful snowfall that had just arrived! We found a wonderful place! The refuge is beautiful and welcoming! The double room was intimate, very warm, and the perfect size for two! We were lucky enough to try dinner and breakfast; everything was excellent, with generous portions, and above all, served with kindness and passion! It was wonderful to go out after dinner and admire the stars! My compliments to the owners, with their wonderful children, it felt like visiting friends! Thank you for everything!

A beautiful refuge, reachable in about a half-hour's walk through a beautiful forest. There are several ways to get there, including one with very little elevation gain. A beautiful location. The food isn't just polenta, but also elaborate and tasty dishes.

A beautiful place run by a wonderful family. The trail to get there is easy, the food is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful and cozy.

Great experience!! After a walk in the woods, we arrived for lunch... everything was prepared to perfection. Delicious food (the green tagliatelle were fantastic)... they were so kind! I highly recommend organizing a lunch with them!! You won't regret it!!
