Rifugio Meira Paula In Sampeyre

We spent a weekend with friends and our dog, we had a great time in a place where peace and nature are good for the soul. The owners are very kind, helpful and the home cooking is really good. We will be back.

We have been to this refuge several times and we had a great time. Welcoming family-run place. Excellent vegetarian dishes at fair prices. The refuge can be reached on foot with comfortable paths through the woods for 30 minutes or 1 hour. From Becetto, however, it is more challenging. It can also be reached by bike via a well-beaten dirt road. Recommended for spending a quiet Sunday or returning from more challenging excursions. I did not sleep so I do not know what the rooms are like.

We slept one night in this splendid refuge, the room was wonderful with a view of the valley and access to a veranda with windows. Perfect temperature, as well as the quality and cleanliness of both the bathrooms and the room. Highly recommended.

Today my husband and I ate lunch at the refuge. The owners were very friendly, the food was excellent and the price was reasonable. Very nice place even if the weather wasn't great today. We will definitely return.

Ho chiamato sabato mattina per prenotare un tavolo per il giorno successivo per 7 persone e 5 cani : ci hanno detto che non c’era nessun problema !!!:) (ho chiamato altri rifugi dove ci è stato detto “5 cani sono troppi”). Solo per questo avrei dato 5 stelle ! I 2 ragazzi del rifugio da soli riescono a gestire benissimo il servizio: cibo buonissimo (io sono vegetariana e c’erano molte opzioni per vegetariani- altra cosa rara da trovare nei rifugi in montagna ) , giornata con un sole pazzesco (infatti abbiamo potuto scegliere e mangiare fuori all’aria aperta ), servizio rapido e gentile. Conto assolutmente corretto e non caro per la qualità del cibo. Direi che siamo stati tutti molto soddisfatti e torneremo senz’altro. Grazie !
