The trail to reach it is challenging in places, but offers beautiful views. The refuge is in an incredible location nestled among the mountains. Unfortunately, there are limited spaces, so I recommend booking. The same goes for parking along the hairpin bends of Mezzoldo. There are also outdoor tables where you can enjoy a picnic lunch. It's definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic place surrounded by mountains and pastures. Enchanting view, very welcoming and well-kept structure...outstanding food...varied and well-cooked...kind, capable, friendly managers...what can I say? A trip to repeat...Thank you so much

A charming, clean, and well-maintained location, characteristically in keeping with the style of the young and dynamic owners. Given the limited space, especially inside, reservations are required. The view of the Gleno Dam is spectacular. Dishes are appropriate for a mountain refuge, with a special twist on the Dal, a traditional Nepalese lentil and eggplant soup, here revisited with polenta. It's very good. The pasta with nettle cream and chopped hazelnuts needs a rethink, as it's completely tasteless and lacks any character. The desserts, including the Veneani, are good. Service is prompt despite the large crowd. Value for money: high, probably appropriate for the costs of running the establishment.

A wonderful refuge nestled in a beautiful valley, surrounded by equally stunning peaks and offering panoramic views of the valley (including a close-up view of chamois). Excellent and plentiful home-cooked food (including breakfast), excellent value. The refuge managers Silvia and Luca and the entire staff make you feel at home, kind and helpful in an intimate, family-like atmosphere. An excellent starting point for various destinations. I recommend staying overnight.

Less than two hours from the Madonna delle Nevi refuge on trail 124 and five minutes below the Italia 101 trail, which connects Passo San Marco and the Redona refuge. A small CAI refuge in a strategic location, open daily until mid-September. Friendly hosts, two rooms with a dozen beds, and a somewhat basic breakfast.

The hospitality of the owners is amazing, the food is awesome (vegetarian and vegan options are possible), rooms were nice with some clever little details. It is obvious the owners know exactly what the average hiker needs. And on top of that, you get a breathtaking view. Highly recommend!!

12/09/2025: UPDATE 2025 For us, this place remains synonymous with hospitality and quality. The cuisine shows no signs of slowing down, and everything is top-notch. We'd like to give special mention to the service provided by the very young waitress Giorgia, who, despite her age, already perfectly masters the dining room with professionalism, courtesy, and a warm smile. To Tania and Fabio, and to the entire staff, our eternal thanks for everything they've contributed to this restaurant. We look forward to seeing you again soon. ________________________________________ This restaurant has become an absolute must-visit. The cuisine is excellent, with great attention to raw materials (often local) and masterful preparation, beautiful presentation, and the flavors are clear and unpretentious. The service is prompt, friendly, and professional. There's never a glitch or a lapse in style, and everyone has a smile and a word to say. The price is reasonable for the offerings and in line with other restaurants in the valley. The staff at the local restaurants are calibrated based on average attendance (it couldn't be otherwise, given the huge difference between high and low season), so you may occasionally have to wait a bit longer than average. Don't panic, just enjoy the view and you'll be served in good time. We always highly recommend it.
08/09/2025: The dishes are varied and well-cooked; the portions are decidedly small, and the prices, in my opinion, are excessive. The place is clean but a bit bare. The service is... inexperienced.

06/03/2026: A benchmark for quality and service. Spacious, tastefully furnished, and characterized by a pleasantly contemporary vibe. The service is distinguished by efficiency and courtesy, minimizing wait times while never neglecting the customer. The pizza is excellent, the result of a careful selection of raw materials. The final bill is fair and in line with the offerings. An impeccable experience that deserves to be repeated. Ample parking.
23/02/2026: This is my second time here, and I had a great time. The pizza is delicious! Yesterday I had a delicious Pozza sandwich! The service was fast! Well done!
